Has quite alot more dmg, if we apply the same logic that for what ever reason ussr need dmg increase then US requires dmg decrease.
No nitpicking.
Took a while to admit
I believe you went apeshit demanding nerfs and buffs if the bodyarmor gets removed.
I just pointed out that in all your nerfing wisdom you should apply it to everyone then, not just your favorite factions.
I repeat, i don’t really care if the pps43 were to disappear, get uptiered, get nerfed fire rate, but if it does there should be something equivalent to it as a battlepass or event gun similar to mas38
U.S. doesn’t fight russia. Germany’a damage values were increased to balance body armor out. U.S. never got this treatment.
Several japanese SMGs had their damage nerfed because people complained about the buffs they had received due to even fight japan-soviet event. Japanese SMGs have received more damage nerfs than buffs recently in a knee jerk reaction for the devs. The reason for this american players not being able to cope with the japanese having SMGs comparable to the soviets in strength. You seem disingenuous when you talk about damage buffs to japanese guns.
Oh how I could forget the extra 10 RoF on 6.2 DAMAGE SMG
Or how I could forget the 1/1 recoil!
Or better yet, how dare I compare the SMGs to clearly more powerful PPS-43 instead of PPS-42 because some dude is bad at the game that they cannot control the non-existent recoil of the PPS-43
I already know you for whats your opinon is worth and this time its no exception. The only 3 weapons that have higher RoF than PPS-43 have some serious downgrades to them and comparing them to PPS-42 is like saying ‘but the unupgraded FG-42 II does much less damage than the upgraded AVT! It should be buffed!’
And funniest part is that you could buff the FG-42 II damage up to 16.8 but balance would be maintained since body armor makes it deal 13.5 damage at 68m
If 100% of players wore cuirasses. But they don’t. And how can you be so precise about damage at range? When we know the damage at 10 and 100 meters with precision. How do you know the intermediate values?
Maybe my opinion is just scewed because i own a bunch of stuff for germany and have a 80-90% win rate as a solo console player in pc match ups. Maybe I’m just too good with germany to understand how you really feel. …i dunno…maybe just “get gud” lol
Well cuz we know a lot more about the game than you do we actually do know the values in between. damage falloff starts at 10 meters and goes down in a linear slope to 100 meters. Maybe you should listen to the people who know more
In fact, the answer is the opposite.
In fact, bulletproof vests are a heavy historical burden.
In order to develop bulletproof vests, the Soviet camp sacrificed a lot of resources, including the development of other weapons.
Other factions have added many numerical values to achieve a balance with the bulletproof vest, such as unequal attack power.
In fact, everyone hopes that the bulletproof vests can be removed as soon as possible, so that the Soviet forces can have the same level of weapon firepower as ours. That way…
As is well known, in games, attack power is generally more valuable than defense power.
Because you can make the first move.
That’s it. The bulletproof vest is already a heavy burden of history. Let’s delete it. Then we can have a fair showdown.
In order to deal with the bulletproof vests, the Soviets were forced to accept an overly aggressive German attack.
If you want to know the reason, then I’ll tell you.
Why?
Because the United States is a country belonging to two opposing camps, it needs to deal with Germany and Japan.
If Germany is 6.8
Neither Germany nor the United States has bulletproof vests.
The United States must set it at 6.8 for the sake of fairness.
Two attacks resulted in death.
And in the United States, generally speaking, there is a higher chance of harming Thomson.
At the same time, the United States is facing Japan.
In Japan, there was a more powerful Type 100 submachine gun. [Of course, this was in the past as it had its firing rate reduced to decrease the damage.]
However, at the same time, the caliber of the Japanese southern assault rifle bullets has been raised to the 6.8 level.
This balanced confrontation between the United States and Japan. Both sides can cause death with two consecutive attacks.
Now, the presence of the Soviet Union and Japan has indeed added additional complications.
So, in southern Japan, the production of submachine guns has been enhanced to the same level as that of Germany and the United States. Thus, it has become balanced.
Next is the Type 100 submachine gun. Since it has just been modified, it cannot be improved immediately. Let’s keep urging the developers to increase the attack power of the Type 100 submachine gun to 6.8. Wouldn’t that be great?
As for the Soviet Union, I think the developers were also testing the Hurricane submachine gun. When the Soviet Union had no armor, would increasing the attack power of the PPSH to 6.8 be too much?
After all, the top assault rifles of the three factions - Germany, the United States, and Japan - all have an attack power of 6.8 or greater.
At the same time, its rate of fire was no less than that of the Soviet PPSh. For example, the Chirali submachine gun, the Kondes machine gun, and the Somi submachine gun. AC Thomson Tokyo Submachine Gun
There’s no choice. At that time, there was no Soviet-Japanese conflict. The 100 submachine gun with increased firing rate was too powerful. It was indeed necessary to increase the damage of the 【100 submachine gun late model】 to 6.8.
This is purely due to the developers’ shortsightedness or they have some long-term considerations that we don’t know. We can’t make repeated changes in a short period of time. In the next chapter, we will think about improving the Japanese posts. Of course, I have also repeatedly requested to strengthen the attack aircraft and tanks of level 3 and the attack aircraft of level 5 in the Japanese faction before.
All but 3 TT submachine guns the Allies have do 8.2 damage. I ask again, what is getting artificially increased by setting german submachine guns at 6.8
If there were no bulletproof vests, then the attack power of most basic assault rifles would be 6.7.
Carry out 3 attacks and cause death
Currently, it has been adjusted to 6.8, which means an extremely close range, with 2 attacks causing death.
If the distance is a little farther, 3 or even 4 attacks will be required to cause death. If it is the PPSH, even 5 attacks are required to cause death.
After all, the US and German forces did not have bulletproof vests. Both sides were engaged in extremely close-range, two-attack assaults that resulted in deaths.
This was used to counterbalance Thomson’s large-caliber submachine gun. 6.8 has enhanced the combat effectiveness of submachine guns in extremely close range.
If it were the German and Soviet forces, because the Soviet Union had bulletproof vests and extremely low attack power. Both sides also need to be within extremely close range and require three attacks to cause death.
If it were only the Soviet Union and Germany
The United States and Germany
The United States and Japan 【The southern submachine gun has been strengthened while the Bizui submachine gun has been weakened】
The Soviet Union and Japan Now let’s take a look - the overall situation is balanced.
The attack power of the Type 100 submachine gun in Japan should be increased to 6.8.
That’s how damage drop off works for literally every single weapon.
The PPSh does the same exact damage as the other Soviet SMGs, or any other weapon in 7.62 Tokarev in the game. The guns aren’t firing the same calibre and shouldn’t have the same damage. 9x19 SMGs, except the Sten which should have it increased, do 6.8 damage. Again, what is being increased here?
Not sure about this. I really hate that u.s. is now getting put in this situation where both japan and Germany constantly want to one up Russia while u.s. gets left behind
