Thanks for pointing out the obvious, germany has more skilled players than anyone else. Japan has fewer skilled players, but their ratio of good to bad players is extremely high compared to russia and allies.
I’d like to comment on this point. The Germans and Japanese aren’t weak either. The Breretta 1918, for example, easily takes on cuirassiers. It’s just that, with rare exceptions, Soviet SMGs kill literally everything with three bullets, and they either don’t have a rate-of-fire advantage, or the advantage isn’t that great.
However, I suggest burying the hatchet. I’ve done some research and concluded that the Cuirass is no longer necessary. There are some things that can be corrected later.
The only question is what’s the best course of action. I would still like to return the resources spent on the cuirasses; after all, I got most of them for money. And I don’t like the look of them either. Event squads and premium squads of the USSR and Japan naturally retain all their bonuses.

Yes, but top loaded guns with their bad sight picture are overperforming as a trade off - also they have somewhat small mags.
In BR5 and in BR4 armor doesn’t matter, Kiraly and STG have high enough damage and time to kill where this doesn’t matter. Well damage drop does matter, but at longer ranges a advantage can be dealt with by staying more in cover - or so to speak the time to kill is slow enough that you can play slower accordingly - but in close range where miliseconds matter, you have to be able to take out a threat fast, which is especially problematic with semi auto rifles. Every semi auto that gets stopped by body armor is completely worthless, because those simply cant reliably defend themselves from assaulters that play aggressively.
BR3 isnt an issue either, ZK-383 is amazing and even one bullet getting stopped turns the gun from S+ tier to A tier in my book.
BR2 is a different story, PPS43/42 are somewhat fair game compared to current top BR2 Beretta, but with armor considered its worse than those up close, aswell as at longer range. One could make the argument that it has a 40 rounder magazine, which indeed is nice, but 35 rounder mags from PPS aren’t small neither.
In other words, Soviet body armor gives soviets the range advantage because of higher effective damage drop - which is unfair, but the close range impact it has one “some” specific weapons like G41, Armaguerra and slow RPM SMGS like MP40 … yeah those are effected by armor much more.

What would you think if PPS43 would get nerfed to deal 4.4 damage? Because thats what it takes for it to drop from 3 hit kill to 4 hit kill?
Well, you really had to contrive to come up with that analogy, since all Soviet weapons already kill in 3 bullets, unlike German ones.
Will German players want the damage of all their weapons reduced to 6.6 or 6.7 after the removal of cuirasses? The question is rhetorical.
Pls answer my question first honestly.

Would you use unnerfed BR1 PPD over this nerfed PPS43?
Should all weapons with 6.8 damage be reduced to 6.6? Because that affects the allies as well who have no reason to have that damage if it was indeed a response to body armour

I got news for you, German SMGs deal around 6.2 dmg because of armor, while Soviet SMGs deal 6.7 damage.
Yeah nice try. Pps43 doesn’t shoot twice as fast as what’s being used by germany. So this “thought experiment” literally proves nothing nor makes any damn sense what so ever.
People don’t even main the 43 to begin with. 42 is the most used. Which Germany has half a dozen smgs from bp/event/ premmy that shoot at the same fire rate and a few that shoot even faster. Mas38 is better than both 42 and 43. Germany also has some guns that shoot just below the 690 in TT with much better recoil and bigger mags

Sure if the soviet & murrican gets the same tretment.
Namely the pps that should have ~600 rof but has 800 gets nerfed to beretta / Mp40 level.
And obviously, nerfing the .45 cal smg’s to same dmg as 9mm since for what ever reason you incist the 7.62 tokarev does same as 9mm.
Otherwise it just favors soviets like everything else you conveniently to forget to take in account.

The only 2 weapons that shoot faster are Beretta and OVP 1918, both which have top loaded magazines and 25 rounds in magazine
Broski it takes 1 minute to check it and instead you prefer to make a clown out of yourself?
Also the ‘much better recoil’ is 1/1 difference between Beretta 38/40 and PPS-43

The pps42 is 690, same as the berretta m38 no? I don’t really care what happens to the 43. I enjoy 42 more. But there should be an equivalent as event/bp just like germany has if something happens to the 43.
The thompson is already where it should be in comparison to german smgs? Other than the artificial damage increase on german guns that is.
Russia has better smgs. If they get rid of body armor why is not fair to properly depict that?..oh wait i remember now. It’s because germany wants to gatekeep other countries from having decent stuff while having all the best stuff for themselves. That is the mentality of all german mains on the forum
