The squad should get an additional Assaulter in it, if uptiered.
Otherwise, yeah, it’s a BR III gun kept down in BR II on purpose with a smaller squad just to appease to the Chinese market.

Soviets have that on every assaulter squad in the game + guerillas + APC. If that one squad is a problem then the soviets should have it removed from the TT entirely.
And? Neither of those guns are TT, unlike the PPS42 and PPS43 which can also be used on every squad.
So do the soviets, in the TT not through the minimal chance in the silver chests only available with major updates. Should that be removed if the weapon is the problem?

Myself i’d prefer the engi + 4 assaulter with the smg and add on AT like 1928 USMC and TZ 45… i’d settle with that.

And what about germany’s premmy guerrillas? They’re on parr with each other. The german playerbase would have an aneurism over moving this squad to br3 because russia has the pps42. It’s not fair to just pick on this u.s. squad while the other two nations are left alone and is perfectly “balanced”.

You too must be blind and see what you want. This post is about removing the thompson 7.63 from br2. I am against that. I am perfectly fine with the mp719 being br2. I am saying it’s not fair to target the thompson and uptier it but then say these other guns are fine when they all compare

I wouldn’t be against uptiering the PPS-43, but that’s not the topic of this discussion as far as I am aware, so I’m not interested in talking about it.
I just objected to the idea that the guerrilla squad should be uptiered on its own, when it’s literally a tech tree gun for another faction at the same time… That’s why yours is a poor example.

But it’s definitely relevant here when the guns are basically the same. You can’t say this thompson is over powered for br2 while simultaneously saying this german pps42 squad is okay. The reason i originally brought it up in the first place was to back up my claim that the thompson is fine where it’s at. Is this not how you decide where a gun should be placed? By what other nations have access to?
Just like you say the german premmy guerrillas are okay in br2 because it’s comparable to a TT russian gun, i am simply saying the premmy thompson gun is okay because it’s comparable to a premmy squad that germany has.

I agree with you, he criticized all American Thompson submachine guns. Japan has 20 Thompson M1921 submachine guns for the 2-BR, so maybe it’s worth picking on that one too?
It has 10 rounds less, that’s a third of the magazine capacity and a large difference. There should not be a 30 round Thompson on BR2. 20 rounders for BR2 and 30+ for BR3 and up

Have you looked at the Thompson’s specs? The Japanese M1921 has a rate of fire of 1040 per minute. 2BR
But a 20 rnd magazine if it had a 30 it be br 4
