Rebalancing research Thompsons + prems & event

You did the math wrong. Looks like recoil control for this gun is 75.

88x0.75=66

88-66=22

22 is actual recoil

While it is just a direct upgrade to the zk383 the zk also just isn’t a good br 3 weapon. I’ve never been a fan of nerfing premiums for obvious reasons and I don’t think this squad is egregious enough to warrant an exception.

Recoil doesn’t matter. Why are you talking about it. Just crouch and use perks

Well… dreaming big would be thinking the f80 will ever actually get nerfed… this is somewhat fair as by stats you have a very valid point.

Yeah that’s kinda the issue you don’t have the spread sheet stats to show if the math is wrong and it got it wrong in a different of five in a random gun it’s a estimate but I wouldn’t trust which was my point

I don’t think you understand my point. I first mentioned the pps42 premium squad. The mp719(r). This gun is directly comparable to the thompson 7.63. They are both br2. They both come with 5 man squads. How is one okay, and the other not?

I then mentioned the event mp35 (not the tech tree one) and the mas38 as powerful guns in br2 as well. The point of mentioning these, is to point out that germany does in fact have strong guns in br2 that would compare (not be exactly the same) to the thompson 7.63.

I then mentioned the mp41(r) in br3 that germany has, meaning they have access to a much better gun than the thompson in br3.

I also mentioned event guns for the point that germany gets access to these powerful guns for free.

I promise you this is how it works. I’ve been playing for over 2 years. You can test the equation out with the spreadsheet my guy. Go pick a random gun. Look at its recoil control stat there, then go to the game and look at the recoil stat there. It’s the same thing just inversed.

The spreadsheet gives you the left over instead of the control number itself like in game. Spreadsheet will say .4, in game that will read 60.

Recoil absolutely does matter, especially for controller. But even so, i wasn’t talking about recoil? Lol…if you actually bothered reading anything, you’d see i was sharing how to get the actual recoil of a gun in game

And I been playing for four and I do maths alot if you gotta say “it’s 70%” then go “no actually for that it’s 76%” that’s flat out not how it works again if you gotta do that than it’s not good maths

Unless you mean to clarify something than say so but again this not how it works but it doesn’t matter bc it doesn’t give me precise measurements

eeeeh. We get a buff on recoil so we have a easier time on recoil than Pc which feels the full extent

Ah. Consoloid. Makes sense

That’s not what happened though. Lol you used the incorrect recoil control number for the equation. That’s on you not the math. Go look at the avs36 in game and tell me what the damn number says. I’m willing to bet money that it says 75, and not 70 which is the number you used!

Now you’re moving the goal post I explained why I put them at the standard of the TT and you ignored it

Lemme put it in twr notes

Prem gun = event + research + BP → effecting each other in balance ≠ its own separate balance ^ to keep each category in check \ / (down arrow) if left unchecked → more unbalance weapons = further player frustration

So original buddy. Bet I’m still better than you

Okay, that’s fine. But germany still has access to very comparable guns in br2. If you say the mp719(r) should also be br3 then I’ll accept your point.

Which should be rebalanced too like the ru TT gun

But yknow… owners of paid squads frustrations aren’t of concern at all… because you wouldn’t know… do you even buy premium squads that are on “sale”? or are you just saying that.

Because as i said uptiering a premium weapon that people paid for when it was two should obviously cause player frustration… i don’t say will because it’s left to chance mind you.

ON TOP of uptiering it you just suggest no change at all? simply because it’s similar to a tech tree weapon for another nation? Now i dont expect you to realize given you aren’t a consumer of them but the main purpose of premium and event squads are to be unique… simply being a copy and paste of a weapon isn’t… especially when it will be competing with another thompson in its role the 1928A1 in assaulter 4 which i wont repeat will kick its ass.

Also here lies another problem… you are comparing a weapon you get 3 of on functioning squad members versus 4 on well perked soldiers combined with 2 extra squad members.

And you can run 3 4x zk squad… you can run only 1 5x thompson squad… there are issues with comparing them and is a reason why it isn’t done much.

Yeah except that’s not how it works at all. PC not only comes with many other setting advantages, but it’s much easier to control aim with your whole arm than a single thumb.

it’s been proven that fps games often have much lesser recoil on M&K (might just be visual) than controller. One such game that does this is the destiny series which I used to play religiously.

I also don’t believe for a second that enlisted doesn’t have some form of this, I’ve personally experienced playing on both inputs and guns jump way higher/harder on my console than on my PC.

The reasoning for giving PC players less recoil/perceived recoil (which is just as important if not more so), is because you can’t drag a mouse infinitely downward nor does it reset like a joystick. If M&K had regular recoil you’d have to constantly pick up your mouse and reset it mid gunfight.

Euth has stated that console gets 30% recoil reduction. Simple.

However when looking at some pc clips it looks much smoother… and that’s probably because of the things you mentioned.

Yes, i do agree there is a blanket reduction for controller. It’s supposedly at 50% now from what I’ve been told.
