Problems with Japanese swords

Ok, so you are not purely vehicle cycling, of course.

A rally point however, is universally the greatest preparation before attacking.

well yes that’s why you always have an APC and engineers in every squad as well as an engineer squad for good measure no compromise it can mean the game in some situations.

The only single use swords have is to get closer to the objective afte spawning.

A pioneer could get the most use out of it, because the rest of the squad still runs normally- which gives you time to build rallies, however I personally think shovels are better to bring as q pioneer, since there are some maps with bad cover to hide rallies.

I laugh every time some fool pulls out his saber to run past my tank MGs - this stuff simply never works on me since my commander can use his personal weapons.

You Soviet mains are only bringing this up because you want to keep your real unfair advantage - aka body armor.

Sure technically those swords are an unfair advantage - however since you only ever need a sword for your first soldier in your squad, and there were so many sword events in the past that most of us actually have multiple already.

There really is no point in giving every single soldier a sword, however giving every soldier 10% extra HP - yeah that’s universally useful.

It’s mentioned because it is an advantage only one faction has just like body armor… and no not all factions have swords you can BUY.

Regardless of its context id still like this…

I’ll repeat again, do not try to invalidate a suggestion because of irrelevant stuff… it only shows your lack of control regarding the ever so fragile topic of body armor (i’m guilty as well)

Once again… rationalizing is only ok when you do it… lol… right.

Whoops, i edited this comment instead of responding… if you care to know check the edited

Are swords as useful as extra HP? No

Do you have swords as Soviets? Yes

Do other nations have extra HP? Actually yes in the form of Paratroopers and Flamers - however flamers havent been meta for years now and Soviets have the best universally useful Paratrooper squad that can be customised.

You should see a pattern.

If actions of a single man count, I’d like to have a long bow as an event weapon for Allies West! Probably more chance of being saw in action during real WW2 than saw-off shotgun or Winchester 1866.

To be fair, it is necessary to disable the protection of cuirasses in customization. And add cuirasses with protection to the backpack slot (equipment that is bought for silver). In this scenario, everything will be fair.

  1. Customization does not affect the gameplay.
  2. Shin-guto (Japanese sword) and Cuirasses are bought for silver. As a result, we get everything honestly, everyone has their own special feature in the fraction that is bought for silver.

I really, really, REALLY hope you’re ragebaiting considering i even spelled it out for you… jesus fucking christ.

Once again… rationalizing is only ok when you do it… lol… right.

And that is subjective… i know a friend who does just fine and is against vitality… so im sure he’d find swords more useful… I as well considering they are easier to buy.

Yeah… i see a pattern.

This is actually suggested sometimes… haha

Then should we make up some Japanese tanks for low BR to match others? Or give a huge buff to MP40 to match Thompson or PPS? Or better MGs for Sov, more none-Thompson SMGs for USA?
Why people always trying to make every faction completely same?

Because some people believe in symmetrical balance because this is an fps game.

I wouldn’t consider myself one of them… i was an avid defender of the king tiger shitting on sherman’s until a p-47 came to do its job.

I spend a fair bit of my time in every game charging from the start of a spawn to my destination… this would only make that better.

I suggest a buff on rally points, they can be easily cleared out if your team can’t give enough pressure to stop the enemy from flanking and searching the rallies.

Well, there is-2 still struggle

Some TT 100mm gun needs to come soon.

There is one more thing, the height of soldiers is inconsistent.

Japanese soldiers are generally shorter, which reduces their Hitbox. This is rarely mentioned, but it is definitely an “unfair” thing.
I think you can verify it and create another thread.

I think the only standard faction of this game is Germany, and everyone else has something that can be called “features”.
Allies and the Soviet Union had post war equipment: M26/T99 and Su-9.
Allies had Browning HP pistols, far superior to any other TT pistols.
Soviet and Japanese (premium squad) have body armor.
Japan has cheap TT sabers, and their Hitboxes are smaller.
Japan also has largely fictional vehicle: Ho Ri.

Remember this is only because US players whined and cried for super pershing… lolololol

Releasing Tiger II H was a mistake, its protection is so good that it directly initiated a tank arms race.

I disagree… i think it was perfect asymmetrical balance and portrayed a feeling that the US tankers probably had in real life… all they could do was disable the barrel and tracks unless they could flank or call in the fly boys in this case having the best aircraft in the game (p-47) simply bomb it with its extremely usable center mounted 500lb bomb

But yes it did do what you said… now we are waiting for t-44-100
