Absolutely iconic plane gutted by the jets sadly so I suggest being moved to BR III where it belongs.
Many planes got absolutely destroyed by the jets and no prop should be in the same BR as the jets but there is planes that really should not be fighting them since they really cant win a fight against good jet player and that’s one of this planes. The plane itself has good characteristics but the low velocity cannon and not enough fire power makes the fight against the jets absolute nightmare.
Even the I-185 that im not sure is it BR III or BR IV plane is better then the P-63 against jets despite having worse stats since it has 3 fast cannons in the nose that makes it good boom and zoom plane and its good only for boom and zoom giving it some chance against jets the P-63 sadly have no chance against them since the 37 mm cannon cant hit them and the 4 machine guns don’t do enough damage.
So I suggest moving the P-63A-10 to BR III. (like the ki 61 premium and TT and the Fiat G 55 got absolutely destroyed by the Jets non of this fighter planes should be fighting jets really)

Why terrible it’s literally the same plane that Russians have in BR2, but with less bombs. Not literally, didn’t saw that 37mm cannon, but you get what i mean, that 37 is no game changer.
In the past when we didnt have Rank V vehicles in BR V this vehicle is Rank III in warthuder how can you compare it to BR V vehicles really its BR III the Yak III is miles better but it doesn’t have a bomb. This thing is BF 109 F-4 if the F-4 had a bomb.
And it was never BR V btw it was before the BR system and after this was BR IV it didn’t even had a bomb… when was BR V ??? really ?
Well P-63 is a bit better but yeah they have same problem with the controls not like the FW but also they shake all the time. But I think P63 is a bit better so one BR higher.
It’s actually heartening to see a Japanese player speaking up for the Soviet side. In terms of aircraft stats, this plane really should be placed at BR3—carrying only one 250kg bomb, while even the Japanese tech tree gets two 250kg bombs. The Soviet IL-10 also needs to be reconsidered for BR3 placement.
Hmm, you really have to look at its current stats in the game—you can’t judge it solely based on how it was originally, as if it were a criminal record. The Spitfire IX is at BR2, and no one is making a huge fuss about that, right?
exept for when it was introduced or when other planes are discussed it frequently gets uses as an example that BR is al over the place… but since it isnt axis and an event item a nerf is unlikely.
That’s true. Event vehicles often seem to get lucky—no matter how much the forums criticize them, they remain unchanged. When this plane was first introduced with only 100lb bombs, it caused quite an uproar, and everyone demanded increased payload capacity.
Now, looking at discussions about this aircraft, there’s almost nothing left.
The Soviet did not lack low BR premium aircraft, on the contrary, it needed high BR, preferably buff the P63 to keep it there
There are other ways to improve this aircraft, such as HE-I shells and better bombs
Since the P-51D-5 is rated 3, an argument can be made that every 109 variant belongs there. Shoot, the Dora 9 could be lowered to 3, even La7… honestly, every prop should be reevaluated because of jets.
