Warning! This turned out long… just to only scratch the surface. Easy to read, definitely not positive (so don’t if fake-posi-vibes are your thing).
The state of the game and the attitude of the developers is burning me out with cringe. I’m am so tired of dealing with the same lackluster, illogical, dysfunctional, bugged or broken stuff every time i open the game that I am very seriously considering to stop playing the game altogether.
I’m not playing for free. I’ve payed for my entire 10-11 months of playing this game. I wouldn’t be asking for anything if i were to play for free, just so we’re on the same page here.
Every session of playing the game, due to dealing with the same garbage that never gets fixed, feels like nothing more than a process of gradually accumulating frustration. I am talking about GLARING ISSUES, things that have no function, no logic and bugs THAT AFFECT THE CORE GAMEPLAY of game, not some random stuff that affects minor things or stuff you can ignore.
The list is long, and this post will barely scratch the surface. It is mostly ABOUT THE WAY THE GAME FUNCTIONS, or to be more accurate, how it doesn’t function properly.
Out of the long list of issues that degrade the experience of playing Enlisted to the point of borderline obsolescence, I HAVE SELECTED ONLY A FEW for the following reasons:
- Occurrence - issues that you deal with continuously while playing the game.
- Straightforwardness - stuff that is clear, easy to understand, easy to replicate and therefore very easy to fix/improve/implement.
- They affect the CORE GAMEPLAY - which they degrade to absurd levels.
- They are not subject of interpretation or subjectivism - they are either outright bugs, poorly designed things due to lack of quality control, things that either have no function or no logic to them and THEY AFFECT NOT ONLY ME, but i am sure a lot of other players too.
- CAN BE FIXED ANS SHOULD BE FIXED with the new major update - issues that have been in the game for far too long and cannot be postponed anymore.
I case you’re wondering why I am posting here and not making a bug report… I DID for one of them… and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE about it… and it’s been 3 months since then. Other people have done bug reports for the other problems. I’ve also made another forum post for another issue.
Nothing… absolutely nothing has been done. The indifference and sheer ignorance of the developers HURTS.
I waited update after update, nothing gets fixed or addressed. I am tired of waiting.
If this update, which is NULL in terms of content, doesn’t bring any fixes for JUST THE VERY FEW issues that I am going to list, I am done with the game.
These are just a few. Not because there’s not a lot more of them, but because of the reasons listed above.
1. Guns that are not shooting straight / bullets don’t go where the sights are pointing
This one is the stuff of ridicule. For 5 years straight these guns have had misaligned sights in the scope versus the point of impact. Yes, from the very inception of the game, they’ve been released like this, and they’ve been in this state ever since. I’ve even checked videos on Youtube from 4+ years ago to confirm.
It affects nearly 50% of the semi-auto sniper rifles in the entire game, including guns from premium squads!!! The entire line of soviet semi-auto sniper rifles suffers from this defect… ALL OF THEM!
If you’d think this is a small issue, it’s not. At 150m, if you aim center mass on a prone soldier, the bullet flies over him, so you have to aim just under him at the point where he touches the ground. At 100m if you aim for the chest of a soldier, it hits him in the head. If you shoot while leaning, the impact point is going to be either to left or to the right of your vertical post which makes it even more difficult and annoying to deal with. It’s so noticeable that it is outright bothersome. It gets to a point where it becomes frustrating to constantly make sure to compensate for it by aiming underneath the point where you want the bullet to hit.
All sniper rifles, in theory, should have their impact point calibrated for 100m.
…in practice, half of them don’t.

All soviet semi-auto snipers shoot noticeably above the tip of the vertical post.
The SVD-30 shoots under the tip even at point blank range…
I’ve bought 3 premium sniper squads, and all 3 have broken guns that suffer from this defect, namely, the SVD-30, SKT-40 and Sniper Gewehr 41.
In other words you’ve basically sold me, not ,1 but 3 broken products… for real money.
With this level of quality control and this ignorant attitude of not fixing bugs and major issues regarding paid products, do you think I will buy anything from you ever again?

2. Breath holding bug
There is a bug in the form of conflicting functions.
If you keybind breath holding to left mouse button (shoot/fire the weapon button), you cannot:
- use/shoot tank cannons
- shoot both main engineer buildable weapons (AT cannons and AAA guns)
If you want to spawn in a tank at some point in the battle, or an engineer squad, you have to press Escape, go to Controls and unbind it from left click, otherwise you can’t do anything.
Things that are not affected: tank machine guns (both coaxial and roof mounted), grenade launchers from rifles, ampoulomets.
I have not been able to test: mortars, special engineer grenade launchers.
Why bind breath holding to left click and why is it important?
Simple. Efficiency. Semi-auto rifles are extremely non-efficient on breath holding. No breath holding means no ability for accurate fire due to permanent weapon sway. It not only applies to sniper rifles, but to any semi-auto, select fire and few select bolt actions rifles that stay aimed between shots, especially if there is any range between you and the target. It’s self explanatory.
Automatically cancelling breath holding upon shooting is the ONLY efficient method. Cancelling it manually with the breath holding keybind is way less efficient, clunky and cumbersome. Imagine shooting and pressing the keybind after every shot…that’s borderline absurd.
This bug is in the game for almost and entire year now. Paradivision even made a forum post about it last May and still no fix.
3. Interaction between bots and dual wielding weapons
Example: You equip your assaulter soldiers with an SMG as primary (for close range) and a bolt action rifle as secondary (for longer ranges). Because AI soldiers are scripted to favor b.a. rifles they ALMOST ALWAYS swap out your weapons and when you change to another soldier it has the wrong weapon active.
The following VERY COMMON CQC SCENARIO ensues :
- you happen to die with the current soldier
- your squad bots are in close range or line of sight to the shooter
- you swap to the next soldier
- the soldier has the wrong (secondary) weapon equipped
- the Enlisted AI squad bot is dumb as nails and in 8/10 cases he is facing his back towards the shooter
- you find your weapon half way aimed (simple ADS) (if you use sticky toggle)
- you have to turn 180 + press 1 to toggle your main weapon (SMG) + press the zoom keybind (to set proper ADS if you use sticky toggle)
… and YOU ARE DEAD WITH YOUR ENTIRE SQUAD, because you cannot react fast enough. You have to do stupid shenanigans to fix the weapon setup that the BOTS BROKE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
This is sooooo EGREGIOUSLY STUPID it’s simply OUTRAGEOUS!
This type of ABYSMAL level of quality, is characteristic of games that were complete failures.
How is it that in 2026 you guys don’t have a PRESET for weapons that activates when switching to an AI squad soldier? Nearly EVERY OTHER GAME that has friendly bots has it, but not you… because you guys live in 1986… and the AI system is DEFINITELY NOT the main feature of this game?..
This so dumb, man…
… and you guys (devs) probably wonder why your game has no success and you barely have a handful of players… that are already irritated with the mediocre quality of your game.
And if you thought this level of trash was just it by itself… no, there is more. It’s Enlisted, of course there is another layer of bad stacked on top, which leads into the next point…
4. Unusable ADS mode
Because I use STICKY TOGGLE for various keybinds, among which is AIMING (just like almost every other game)… and I am sure A LOT OF PLAYERS ALSO DO… every time I change between soldiers in battle I get this absurdity:
Non-zoomed ADS
Not only does the bot swap out my weapons, but I also find my weapon in the wrong aim mode, half way zoomed with simple ADS. This is just mental!
What am I supposed to do with this??
Every single time I swap soldiers I have to press two buttons: toggle zoomed ADS and right click to get out from ADS/scope view back to hip-fire.
EVERY SINGLE TIME …
And of course there is more, because the ENTIRE SYSTEM is FLAWED and BACKWARDS… a system that was developed 7 years ago in the inception of the game… which of course was NEVER RE-EVALUATED.
5. Scoped weapons that have iron sights
If you developers would have done your jobs properly as designers and creators of this game, you would have probably opened this god-forsaken game, at least once a month, in order to find things that need improvement or redesign because:
- they don’t work properly
- they are clunky
- they don’t achieve the desired goal
- or are obsolescent because they are overlapped by better functionality (such as the telescopic sights rendering iron sights useless)
If you would have done this, there would be no need to ask the PR people to write lies like this in the SITREP:
“Ever wondered what the development team does when they aren’t busy building updates? Our Project Manager launched “Battlegrounds” a year ago - a weekly event where developers, game designers and community managers are randomly teamed up to tackle special challenges.”
You’re not fooling even a 5 year old with this… It is OBVIOUS from two buss stations away that it’s nothing but lies.
It is made obvious:
- by the state of the game
- by the way the game is set up and scripted
- by the lack of features, options and customization
- lack of optimization of basic features like keybinding and accesibility, etc
6. Usability of non-zoomed iron sights under the scope (on rifles that sport them)
Let me ask you a simple question:
How exactly do you guys (devs) think that the iron sights under the scope are actually usable in a non-zoomed configuration?
In my 11 months of playing this video game, I’ve used them ONLY ONCE to shoot somebody… and that was ON PURPOSE, just to see if it’s even possible or how effective they are.
Ever since, I NEVER REPEATED the experience.
Now, two thing become obvious:
- non-zoomed iron sights under the scope are USELESS. You either zoom them to 2x (like normal zoomed ADS) or remove the option to use them.
Example: shooting a target a ~30m… are you going to peek through a tiny hole, see your iron sights and the target very small on the screen… and try to align them and shoot… not to mention the scope mounts that obstruct all your vision
…when you can simply use the scope and shoot normally like normal people…
Why does stuff like this exist in the game in 2026? This is void of logic, void of functionality, clutters the game code, consumes extra keybinds (in order to avoid it) and achieves NOTHING IN RETURN.
5. Scope rifles that have no iron sight by design (irl), but have off-scope ADS
Many scoped rifles that do NOT have iron sights in real life still have an “ADS mode without a scope” in the game.
What exactly are we supposed to do with this?
…and this is on top of the previous mentioned issues and combines with them.
I don’t know…at this point i’m at a kind of a lack of words. I guess this one is self explanatory.
Why, in this day and age of 2026, after 5+ years stuff like this is still a thing? There’s been forum posts made years ago about this very issue and asking for them to be disabled. Still nothing to this very day.
6. Mounting the weapon changes your ADS mode
The mounting bug…the classic, the eternal. This one needs no introduction. We all know Enlisted will never reach that level of quality where this will cease existing. We embrace the suck, and accept that in this game, weapons will always clip through window frames and brick walls. It is what it is…
But that’s not the reason why I’ve mentioned it.
If you use sticky toggle for ADS/scope mode, the simple process of mounting the weapon will
change your ADS mode.

7. Unwanted scope changes
This one I consider personal… but it seems that it is not.
I’ve made a post about it myself.
It revealed that EVERYBODY feels the same about it. Just look at the vote results.
Why would you do such a thing and disfigure the scope by adding a fake and non-realistic obstruction into it… is beyond me…
Why would intentionally create a handicap by limiting visibility?
Why would you ruin the aesthetics? … it doesn’t even look like a real scope anymore.
Why would you make your own game bad on purpose?
… and why would you ruin your customer’s enjoyment deliberately?
Who even understands the logic of this?
This, by the way, is a 10-15min job to copy-paste the old models of the guns/scopes… but I guess you’d rather keep the game in a sorry state.
It would seem some scopes have seen changes throughout Enlisted’s years… ALL FOR THE WORSE unfortunately.
Some scopes have been reduced in size (Garand snipers used to have bigger visible area/lens diameter on the screen), the FG 42 II has had a scope change (from absolutely perfect to product of sheer incompetence), the Kar98K (it’s scope has had a tumor implanted in it).
I guess it’s no problem as long as the soviet rifles have scopes look like this:
PEM, PE, UVP scopes on (old Mosin 91/30, SVD-30, SVD-38 and AVS-36)
…literally perfect from all points of view.

8. AI interaction with orders
Among the never ending issues with AI, there is one so basic and so wrong that it’s absolutely infuriating.
INDIVIDUAL soldier orders get cancelled upon using the soldier’s specific utility.
Using individual orders is THE ONLY WAY to stack bots, so that they stay close to one another when you hide them behind cover. Otherwise the formation system, even in “close” mode still spreads them apart and they go out of cover and die.
I’m so tired of stacking double orders every single damn time I place my bots in cover! Why do so? Because the general order (for the entire squad) is the only way to keep the bot from coming to me and dying… “like a bot”. Pun intended.
This kind of stuff right here, is literally synonymous to “the game killing your bots intentionally”. And if that is the case, YOU ARE WASTING OUR TIME.
Why the fuss? Because this radioman bot is HALF OF MY UTILITY!!! I play sniper rifles in radio man squads because sniper squads are UTTERLY USELESS. They have no utility and cannot help the team in any way, shape or form in doing objectives… because “good designs” from Enlisted devs i guess…
2 min artillery strikes is your only other way of contributing by clearing cap points or preventing people from going into them, besides your shooting with the rifle and seeking similar goals.
Then there is the other way the game kills your bots.
Bots refusing orders to follow or move.
Say you lose a cap point. If you don’t IMMEDIATELY run and retreat your bots just don’t make it. Your bots already don’t keep up with you in the first place, but I don’t want to even go into this…
If any player ot enemy bots enters into your bot’s detection range, or shoots at him, he’s gonna just stop and turn around and get killed.
He doesn’t shoot, just stops to be a sitting duck. And he does this by REFUSING your order to either follow or move to the designated location. Even if you create a literal path yourself for them, they still refuse to move/follow.
I guess, gg’s for trying to play the game properly.
You’re wasting people’s time with these absolutely moronic issues, it’s just ridiculous.
When are you going to do something about this game, THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS and it’s not “Added a new falling cherry blossom leaves effect” ?!?!?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s all fine and dandy, we appreciate your talent for artistic graphics, BUT NOT when it is at the cost of fixing bugs and solving game breaking issues with the game.
Even though there are SOOO many more outright absurd issues with the game, there is simply no space in this post.
“Honorable mentions”, even though they annihilate the quality of the game:
- soldier movement (both AI and player), movement with infinite acceleration, bots constantly stopping and moving, infinite amount of micro movement, bots moving in bursts of speed, bots sliding laterally, bots faking movement, constant shifting of position due to resyinc between server and client… and the list is ENDLESS.
You guys don’t realize this is complete cancer for any form of single fire shooting?? Do you need to be told by random players that the shooting experience in this game if complete trash because of how soldiers move? You don’t realize that “if the shooting experience in your shooter game is bad, then your shooter game is bad”?? - bots shaking, tanks shaking, everything shakes and wobbles in this game
- the replay system barely works. In 50+ replays NOT ONE hasn’t bugged out multiple times. Not to mention they are missing BASIC features.
- God forbid I even dare to mention what you can see in these replays in terms of AI and how AI is shooting through bushes 24/7. It would horrify people if they would see. Community contributors would jump in to delete this post citing “bad publicity” arguments. If you think your prediction about it is bad, then multiply it by 5.
This AI belongs in a different era, the era of Pentium 3.
But… cherry blossoms man… who cares about the game not functioning properly due to bugs and massive issues… what can i say?
I knew Enlisted was poor. I tested it the first and second day of Alpha, back in 2020. Holy hell, that was an experience and a half… the worst I’ve ever had with any game. Terminator bots with infinite reaction time, state of the art lasers and infinite vision… and no proper controls whatsoever… legit having to hold down 3 buttons just to aim and shoot from crouched.
Maybe I should have taken the hint, and not come back to give it another chance four and a half years later. That’s on me, my bad. I guess we all wanted Enlisted to be good, the graphics and concept always inspired great potential.
Sad truth is, “pretty graphics” is not the actual face of Enlisted. If you put them away, you see a different picture, unfortunately.
In some way, I feel, that if it wasn’t for players still pushing, still asking, still supporting Enlisted financially, the game would be long abandoned.
Enlisted players put up with so much crap, so much lack of quality when it comes the actual inner workings of the game…and what do they get in return?
… indifference and ignorance, refusal for bug fixing, refusal to improve the game, lies, feedback ignored, empty updates.
I’m not even asking for new content… what’s the point of it if the current game doesn’t work properly?
New content is not going to fix it.
You sell people broken products for real money and refuse to fix them. That is wild.
Bugs are rotting in your game for years, and you do nothing.
Your stuff doesn’t even work properly. You have issues with base functionality that other games don’t even afford to have.
But you chop time and throw it in the bin like it’s for free. Falling cherry blossoms leaves effects, man…
You’re wasting people’s time and money so hard, it’s actually a spectacle to behold.
I don’t know… I’ve been waiting update after update for fixes and improvements. This is the last update I’ll wait for. Patience is gone. If this content-empty update doesn’t bring ANY FIXES for any of the above… I’m parting ways.
