@DEVS Please remove this COMPLETELY UNREALISTIC OBSTRUCTION from the scopes of Sniper Kar98K and Pre war Kar98K.

It’s effect in-game is self-explanatory.

The reduction in field of vision makes it difficult to:

  • scout targets at range
  • aim and lead targets at close to mid range on an already pretty zoomed in scope (8x)
  • maintain situational awareness due to reduced visible area

With the intent of keeping this post civilized, I will not comment on why it was added, but the issue in itself, is VERY UNPLEASANT.

Please fix this and remove this obstruction so we can enjoy the game.

Can it be fixed with the new update, please? …since you will also be doing other weapon changes.
We can’t continue with it like this, it simply ruins the weapon.

Yes to removing the inner ring piece, that is bonkers, but no to the white van driver or the kiddie who could be in that rampoline or the neighbours windows, unless me and lisa are on the babyshams this weekend and we can put on a show for free xxx

good work. i didnt know this was going on. needs to be fixed ASAP, especially if it affects other guns too.

Probably just another archived post…
Devs don’t change anything in the game… they don’t even seem to be working on the game recently.
In fact it used to be normal back in the day, but then got changed to… this… and left that way.
Not only does this have a negative effect in gameplay by limiting field of vision, but ruins the aesthetic and immersion alongside it… because it’s fake and has nothing to do with reality.
Not sure how this is irrelevant… since it’s the main weapon some people use… but anyways…
Even though it is a max. 15min copy-paste job (of the old model)… given the state of the game, i doubt upvoting it would make any difference.
