The average player isnt on top of the leader board, its the skilled Veteran that decides the outcome of a match.
For Kiraly, MGs, bolt action rifles and automatic rifles with 15+ damage or STG it doesn’t really matter much, all it does is increase survivability at longer ranges, but BR1 - BR3 SMGs it reduces their bullets to down a target by one, thats a big reduction in time to kill. Also Armaguerra and G41 also have their time to kill reduced significantly.
Everyone who still believes it doesn’t matter has clearly no idea about fair gameplay. SMGs specifically are the bread and butter of lower BR gameplay, increasing Soviets survivability by 50% is a huge advantage - especially since Soviets already have generally speaking better SMGs than Germans.

I’m yet to find a weapon that becomes life and death against body armour, and I’m a regular G41 user on my BR 3 Germans.
I’ve been over the appearance orders, they actually aren’t that plentiful to obtain. I’m constantly waiting for each new BP to get more but her that just might be me because I have a lineup for every BR for every faction. I suppose it wouldn’t take a soviet main that long to give all his soldiers armour though.
Still not convinced that German SMGs become so useless at low BRs from a tiny damage reduction. 1 round more makes very little difference IMO but you’re entitled to think that, I’m speaking from my own experiences.
