There’s no debate here when the only response you’ve been giving is “shot them until their dead”. Yeah try doing that when the enemy has downed you after their BA took your.

And no, just because people use an advantage doesn’t mean they support it. Recognizing that something is unfair, and using it for benefits are completely separate things. You can do both.
It’s common sense.
Anyone who has knowledge of simple game mechanics acknowledges that BA gives an advantage: they just disagree on the treatment given other reasons. But you’re the only one who is giving this completely smooth brained take.

Generally speaking, a ZK-383 shoots fast and one more bullet to kill isnt very noticable indeed, but most German SMGs are slow firing, a MP40 that needs one extra round to down turns it into a BR1 SMG in my mind. I should say that BR1 SMGs aren’t that bad when acknowledging that BR1 PPD is quite poor with its small capacity - but 90% of my BR1 matches I will face PPS43, which is already a BR3 SMG in firepower.
I am not using 90% of BR1 and BR2 German SMGs because they are worthless. German BR2 event SMGs are quite OP tho, Mas 38 and MP35 are just like PPS43 and BR2 Thompson too strong for BR2.
Also did you know that there are two versions of the red event PPS43? The old ones kills with two shots - possibly the strongest BR2 gun in the game.

Yeah I currently have 4 of the PPS red that have the extra damage. I acquired another one recently somehow which confused me because i thought you couldn’t get them anymore.

Well of course.
I like to claim that guns with 6.8 damage do have an advantage over lower damage SMG because most fighting is in close range - but you are right of course, 20m is still quite close by.
That being said, I always considered mid range combat not that hurtful in comparison when counting on vitality and armor, because you can use cover and play more defensive, but in the scenario of me using a semi auto rifle and the enemy manages to get close to me I need a reliable one hit down gun to defend myself properly.
So yes, 10% damage reduction is definitely a big advantage even without considering the extra shots to kill up close.

As far as I know - the new ones are all with the regular damage, maybe some silver chest can get you the old ones.

Yeah not sure, I have so many of both I lost count. I do love the look of them though and prefer the 42 over the 43.

It is a HUGE thing when your opponent just needs ONE shot with already better weapons while you need TWO shots. The difference is even bigger when you need to reload your semi auto with single rounds!
It is a HUGE difference when your smg needs more bullets and on top of that even has a way lower fire rate.
The only advantage the axis has is the King Tiger (H) at BR5. And with some brain cells, it can be destroyed like every other tank.
Panzerschreck advantage? Haha, US got this weapon too.
- USSR has the best smg’s. Real laser guns. Every other nation has more or less equal smg’s.
- The best assault rifles (the StG44 was just sick but hey, lets push the USSR counterpart so it is better by stats and the axis advantange is gone)
- Rocket spam since BR1
- The best semi auto rifles (while axis still has clip reload at BR3 and USSR mains are crying when people ask to put the G43 in BR3)
- Did I mention body armor?
- Chinese units with even more powerfull smg’s that roflstomp BR2 and BR3. Chinese soldiers in Moscow or Berlin, yes for sure!
- Oh, did I mention the body armor without any debuff? Running and jumping like young gods.
Dont tell me about asymetrical balance. USSR got “captured” axis Panzerfausts to balance the AT role, while axis still waits for captured SVT38/40 that were massivly used by axis troops in the early stages of WW2. USSR also got TONS of machine guns (1st nation with a 100rd magazine, haha) that eleminates the axis advantage in this area. The new TKB-264 battle pass machine gun totally eleminates the axis small BR3 machine gun advantage. There is no asymetrical balance, only in favour for USSR and thats a fact. And on top of that, Japan faces the same “asymetrical” bs.
Not long ago some USSR main cried about that “unfair” King Tiger advantage and demanded a soviet tank to counter that. I dont wonder when the IS3 will be introduced. Also USSR mains constantly demanded a BR2 semi auto “bEcAuSe tHey SuFfEr”. And they got it almost instantly. What a shit show…

Yes, that’s right. Red PPS-42 needs to be made standard damage 6.7 or moved to 3 BR.
it is quite simple, if it doesnt affect the game, then there is no problem in removing it. if it does affect the game then it is unfair and should be removed. either way people will stop complaining about it.
