This breaks Geneva Conventions, so they were spy, not soldier
We don’t need spy in a battlefield-like game
Another piece of evidence that devs don’t play games. You can always have accuracy air strikes by spamming V as pilot
The most valuable aspect of this class is removing enemy rallies
The promlem is: This playstyle doesn’t fit current enlisted at all
We don’t have friendly fire at all. Since this update, people will just start to shooting friendly soldiers that is alone, and tank will also fire random HE shell and MG toward friendly.
I guess this will very likely just be another feature that lie in devlog and never implement.
If the developers regard this update as a “great and advanced invention”, I don’t think this game has a long-term future.
If players feel a game has no future, they won’t be willing to keep spending time and money upgrading their accounts or buying new packs and squads.
It makes players think the game has already hit a dead end, with no fresh ideas to spark further interest.
As a result, the game’s activity level keeps dropping, and players may even stop opening it altogether.
Are you saying that in a game where explosives and bombs are flying everywhere and the AI occasionally goes crazy with its shots, they introduce a unit with only one life?
Great, a new world record for the attackers depleting their manpower the fastest is about to be set again.
Let me make this clear: it doesn’t add any real value. A lone man wandering around who barely contributes to the point attack? Okay, I understand the part about hunting and marking rally points, but the guerrillas already do that. The balance of this class is going to be problematic. I don’t like it, sorry.
It’s one soldier per squad and Guerillas can’t place mines inside of enemy spawn zones so sneaking mines behind the enemy team is still better done by the class WE ALREADY HAVE
So, just after the event, basically half of players will be saboteurs (because you can cycle them faster than all other squads). Add some planes and tanks, and maybe you’ll have a couple of infantry squads actually fighting for objectives. After some time, saboteurs will slowly be reduced in number or be very rare, except super-sweaty stacks sho will ruin games thanks to this ill-conceived class.
You can already place mines inside enemy territory as a guerilla, just not inside the literal space people spawn into.
I’ve already seen enemy guerilla squads sneak into the grey zone and throw AT mines all over the road. Guerilla squads are better for this because you can carry 5 mines from all of the soldiers instead of being the 1 singular saboteur
Thank you now I get what they mean yeah! their way of making sentences in english sometimes leads to confusion upon first read. but yeah the enemy realizes something is amiss casue their shit getting marked! makes sense now
Let’s imagine the engineers. Imagine we now decide to add a “new” class called combat engineer, which has the same stats as regular engineers but only adds extra structures. That’s how I feel about the saboteur.
I agree, in reality, also like with guerrillas, the vast majority of players will just play standard squads and it will turn into more of a gimmick than anything in time
This game in no way will be used in a slow way. the are dumb for beling soo. tryhards will use this class to wreak havoc and trolling in enemy zone. a pure toxic guy.
This games pace depends on how you play, you can play like the mindless idiots and just rush straight in line to cap, spray n pray and die. sure go ahead. you can play defensively too though, keeping ur distance setting buildings up, prepare ambush, you can snipe, set up minefields, MG nest in concealed place etc etc.
There is up to you how to play.
I for instance prefer to play balanced between, changing with the course of the match.
Except we’re not playing Lone Fighters any more. This game is not meant for sneaking around and being a spy. You would be an actual detriment to your team if saboteurs are crawling around on their belly trying to roleplay as an assassin while people fight over the objective
