New limited class: Saboteur

Commanders, a new class - Saboteur - is coming with the next “Hidden Threat” major update.

Military intelligence has always demanded thorough preparation and extraordinary skills. Lone specialists, experts in information gathering, camouflage and the discreet elimination of enemy personnel, are about to appear on the battlefields of Enlisted! You will be able to obtain them from the event that will launch alongside the update.

To successfully complete their tasks, saboteurs will be able to wear the uniforms of fallen enemies, but they must be careful. Changing disguises will only be possible while they can’t be seen by the enemy. If their cover is blown, they can still change their disguise once again to throw off the enemy, who has noticed that something is amiss and that air strikes are hitting them with suspicious accuracy.

Lone wolves

Saboteurs work alone behind enemy lines. Experience gained for actions on the battlefield is doubled for them and given how these specialists operate, after losing a saboteur, you will be able to take one again after using another squad. They will also have a significantly smaller impact on their team’s reinforcement points.

A “secure” rear

Given the nature of their missions, saboteurs will be able to move around enemy territory without attracting unnecessary attention as long as they are in disguise. Plus, unlike other soldier classes, saboteurs will also earn battle score for placing markers on enemy fortifications and vehicles.

But saboteurs not only relay intelligence, they are also capable fighters on the battlefield. Armed with captured weapons, saboteurs can eliminate or wound enemy soldiers without alerting them to their presence.

Where is he?

Changing uniforms may fool ordinary soldiers, but commanders can spot the difference between their subordinates and a disguised saboteur at a glance. Saboteurs will also blow their cover if they venture too deep into enemy territory. Soldiers who witness the elimination of their allies are also capable of identifying the saboteur. However, the victims cannot share information about who attacked them… Dead men tell no tales.

You’ll be able to test your infiltration skills in the game after the update launches. See you on the battlefield, Commanders!

I do not understand the value of this. Guerillas already exist and they already fulfill a similar role, they can already enter the grey zone, and use captured firearms but they also have the benefit of carrying extra TNT charges and have a total of 5 men compared to the singular saboteur available here. Disguising is only marginally helpful in this circumstance.

Horrible, horrible idea…

I think this sounds promising, like hero soilders. Perhaps you should need a certain amount to spawn them because they’re so powerful.

Oh my God, this is simply unimaginable

PS:Reminder to developers: This is a completely unusable unit. I don’t think one person can survive for long in a game where the maximum squad size is 9

However, the soldiers of this new profession do not have the triangular insignia of enemy teammates after they put on the disguise.
This is equivalent to not doing any disguise, isn’t it?
As long as the player encounters a soldier without a teammate’s identification mark, they can easily spot him by shooting at him with a pistol.
Even though the indicator for being a teammate was not displayed due to the extremely high latency of the gaijin server. But true teammates will not be affected in any way by friendly fire.
Could it be that the developers, after closing the “Regular Matching - Lone Wolf Mode” option for two years, are now once again attempting to restore the “Lone Wolf Mode” or the “Realistic Mode”?

Does this mean that spamming “Saboteurs” will bleed the team tickets even faster ?

Because if everyone spams them. There won’t be anyone protecting/capturing the point while killing a single enemy will decrease the team ticket drastically.
