I actually think the classes in the game are already pretty much complete.
I even suddenly remembered someone on the forum suggested something like glider assault paratroopers—they’d crash-land straight onto the ground via aircraft, faster than regular paratroopers.
That concept is way more reasonable and solid than the newly added class they just put out.
Since this new unit is way stronger than the old guerrillas, DF will definitely limit its squad size to balance it.
But here’s the problem: all the old squads already got increased unit counts.
If this new one has a smaller squad, in high-pressure matches, it’ll basically just be sneaking around picking stuff up—annoying players just like campy snipers.
They should’ve just upgraded the existing guerrillas instead.
It feels like they tried to make a more historically accurate class, but forgot this game is a large-scale, fast-paced battlefield with AI—it just doesn’t fit.
This new class will make APCs and rally points useless. Nobody will bother building rallies and spawning APCs which will be blown within half a minute. It seems that the saboteur is not revealed if he destroys an enemy rally, or APC (just if he kills soldiers his disguise might be revealed). This is going to be toxic for gameplay. I am thinking I might take a looooong break from Enlisted.

Won’t argue with that, and actually thinking about it, that might happen with the BR adjustments next update.
I would have preferred a new category of light vehicles, like a jeep with a machine gun, but they give us this garbage. Or, I don’t know, Engineer 3 with concrete structures like a mini-bunker with a machine gun, etc., or Radio Operator 3 with long-range anti-tank artillery, but no!

Did they confirm it yet if this class would also be TT? or will it be event/premium only?
Because MP 40 is BR2, not BR3.
