New limited class: Saboteur

I can’t understand why wearing the enemy’s uniform can change voice line and learn their language.

Devs can simply choose to keep saboteur shut up

It just seems any positivity towards DF can’t last a day. Alas.

I don’t see any point in this new squad at all; it only makes the battle more chaotic. Even new players who pick this squad don’t go for the attack or defense points. It’s just not as meaningful as adding a Level 2 guerrilla unit with more soldier bonus points instead

Can you make games?? This is not Captain America!!

I welcome content, but see people report Takers not being aware, one soldier can’t do much, unless SMG or AR on higher BRs, also question as to where they spawn, would prefer Rider 2 but hopefully soon enough…

This sounds like complete bull*hit. This will destroy all current game mechanics. Stacks of enemy saboteurs and planes/radiomen will ruin your games, easily destroying tanks, rallies and APCs. Everyone will be constantly shooting at friendly troops, hoping it’s actually a saboteur. This makes no sense at all.

Germany has the Brandenburg units. Japan has the 36th Division 223rd Regiment. So which Soviet and American units can appear in the form of saboteurs?

My guess not matching weapon or wrong face. The japanese faces for example are very distinct so if some US neckbeard looking guy tries to blend in it wont work very well.

likely partisans again but this time as the new class.

Most r worded shit I’ve ever seen in this forum and I’ve been here a while.

Is this not that one German unit from the Battle of the Bulge?

im not a F2p player, but f2p players have only 4 infantry squads, whats the point of swapping a 7 or 9 man squad

for a friggin 1 dude

That is why this class is supposed to be limited i guess. This way the f2p wont have access to it and DF can call it problem solved.

This feels really awkward. Now that we already have guerrilla troops for behind-enemy-lines infiltration, what’s the point of adding another more sophisticated but smaller infiltration unit?
Guerrilla is already a pretty broad term as it is. German and American units could both be classified as behind-enemy-lines infiltration forces.
Logically, all those functions could just be added to the guerrilla class instead. They shouldn’t only have the advantage of spawning deep in enemy territory.

This new class feels like it’s just being added to pave the way for the solo/lone-wolf mode in the game.
The second this unit was introduced, it reminded me of the relationship between the driver class and the armored troops—except this one is even stronger.

But keep in mind this game has tons of AI that can headshot you in under a second if you’re spotted.
Adding something like this just makes no sense at all.

It would be much better to just add more vehicles and faction-specific specialist troops instead:
Soviet ski troops, German assault engineers, American Rangers, Japanese special assault troops, and so on.

Terrible class and inefficient of coding time, I hope whoever programmed this gets fired immediately lol and goes back to playing among us and unemployed.
