So… its already a pain in the ass to get players in this game to build rallies and use apcs so you add a class that specifically goes after rallies and apcs thus making people even less likely to build them. Its also a pain to get people to play the objective so you add a class whose sole purpose is to NOT do that. You add a class that the ai will ignore even though the ai in this game is so bad that half the time they’ll ignore enemies even while they’re being fired upon. Finally, the cherry on top of this shit-sundae is that its a one man “squad” which goes against one of the main draws of Enlisted which is to command a whole squad of dudes, not just one.

I’ve seen some god awful ideas put forward on this forum but this is one of the worst i’ve seen. I’m already not a big fan of guerrillas but this is that but somehow even worse. Please don’t move forward with this, Gaijin.

Cool but slow!

Pretty sure this new soldier type encourages all the worst behaviors of players. This most likely will make 10% ecstatically happy and just anger the rest.

instead of this can we get parachute squads in the research tree unlocked around BR3 @MajorMcDonalds @Euthymia07-live

Would’ve be much better, although the soviets mains could have a squad full of paras tho with the evemt and premium squads

Are you going to double everyones ammo count since you are now shooting at everyone since you don’t know who the enemy is? This is just going to make the issues with the gameplay here WAY worse. Why this instead of ANYTHING players ACTUALLY asked for?? This is seriously going to hurt the game and drive more players out of squd mode. WHY??

EVERYONE wants Rider IIs in the game…jeeps already litter the bf, devs just needed to add an MG…easy. But no…let’s add something to ruin gameplay…PLEASE use a test server FIRST and see the problems this causes.

They need to put it on a test server first so the can see how it might ruin gameplay.

Asking for researchable paratroopers is like advocating for free healthcare in the US.

Actually, on the Ardennes map there is a machine-gun jeep, but it exists only as an abandoned version. If you have looked at the Enlisted models on ArtStation, you will notice that most of them originally have a complete version, and only later get changed into a wrecked or abandoned version.

For example, when the Pacific campaign was first released, the CCKW-353 was not as damaged as it is now. A more obvious example now is the rickshaws on the Manchuria map, as well as the Morris Oxford Six and the buses that are also used in the Burma campaign—they were later given damaged versions.

If you don’t remember this, you can actually check old gameplay videos on YouTube from when those updates first came out.

Good point!!!
We have fast battles and claustrophobic maps. Most battles are dominated by one side. Some classes are unplayable. One sweaty guy can dominate almost every battle. We have an absurd number of battles where no one is building rallies!

So now only rally in the team (meaning my rally) will be destroyed in a moment by a sweaty yolo? Another reason to leave battle.

Then, maybe we should turn off rally point signal? Should only radio operators or engineers have the ability to listen for enemy rallies? Let remaining squads/soldiers rely only on our observation skills?

I would rework Saboteurs into just being regular guerillas who can spawn on a Rider motorcycle and also hijack empty enemy vehicles like APCs or god forbid tanks if they were left unattended

This seems like a really bad idea. You’re going to have high-level players spawn camping while being basically invisible to enemy detection, and being rewarded extra for it. And if not spawn camping, they’re going to constantly target rally points and APCs. What problem does this class even address?

assuming you cant go into the grey zone, this is cool. a mutation of the guerrillas which are already very niche and usually end up being a one man squad anyway, (idiot bots running through an open field and not the trenches or tree line.) suited towards picking off assets and providing key intel to enemy movements? sounds really fun, i just hope that terrible players dont misuse this, and single handedly tank their teams chances of winning selfishly.
i enjoy an unsavoury aspect of the war being featured, i just hope it wont be so bad (only one guy and you need to find a dead body in the first place) or so annoying, (ability to grey zone or explosive spam somehow) that its removed or deamed too lame to game

So far, this “major update” looks like some drugged out mafia prisoner dev had a binge.
We need about a dozen more maps last year.
First they ripped out the guts of anything historical so much so that they changed the game description text, now they move against the core of the entire game concept, big squad game play. rating of the preview: 0/10

We have female soldiers in-game and I cannot consider how this mechanism will work.

There will be dead naked female medics on the ground after their clothing has been stolen.
And the saboteur who stole the clothing will look like a transvestite.

Apart from the very possible ethics, morality and war crime issues, Enlisted is a 10v10 game, and - that’s already enough. One man in the rear struggling to hide himself means 6-8 men or 1 tank less holding the line on the front.

We don’t even need this Class implemented to prove, there was already a phenomenon that once after a sector is lost, the defending players were all staying in the previous sector doing partisan activities and nobody was holding the new sector. Classic speedrun battles.

Was it said “eNliSteD Is aN SQUAD BASED shOoTEr”?
