New limited class: Saboteur

Why not combine them with the rider class actually?

They already lost all mine. I hope they don’t release this class ever and that Operation shitstorm 2 doesn’t have a paind bp behind it.

This.

Here are a few things which IMO deserve higher development priority right now than a new gimmicky class:

Bet those will be all over the place in Lone Fighters…

For Squads mode they sound like a fun but pointless class addition as this game is simply too fast paced and cap focused to get much value out of them.

Newbies will use them to be of even less use to their team over using a class that fights for the capzone while veterans won’t use them except if a match is already won.

Well, there is more to come for sure.
Personally I guess the devs just wanted to be creative again, nothing wrong with that.

That beings said, I think I should start asking for Body armor fix - its been a while since someone reminded the devs to fix this bias.

the US TT one is an Australian Special Unit deployed for recoinassance and guerilla operation in Borneo
so yeah it’s Special Unit on Guerilla operation.

The Japanese TT one is just a regular Infantry Regiment Squad from regular Infantry Division. but the thing is that remnants of that unit fighting in the Philippines kept fighting on, the famous one being Hiroo Onoda, carried out guerilla Warfare until 1974…
So yeah proper Regular Infantry Unit, remnants go guerilla

But yeah I agree though it’s a bit murky when they introduce classes and what Squad is a what type of sort

Can the spy’s clothing-stealing skill steal the beautiful clothes purchased by the enemy using a clothing transformation card and put them on himself/herself?

which is probably what they intend for it.
AS long as there is limit on have many team can have deployed at any one time.
I say 1 Squad of saboteur at any given time.
I mean otherwise it doesn’t work

don’t give them ideas…

I can se the idiots going for that hitman skin for next unhistorical BS halloween event

Very interesting idea. Might be bit of a gimmick but I’m willing to give it a proper go and see how they play.

Also a Japanese saboteur seems like they might stick out like a sore thumb with the Americans and visa versa lol.

After the update drops :joy:  :joy: :

But why stop there give them explosive vests and ability to put explosive in map vehicles so we can have full terrorist experience considering the current world affairs will prepare enlisted players for the future how to counter terrorism…

:joy:  :joy:

its a meme class hard to take it seriously… I guess this year first of April joke arrived early if that’s the new real class cant imagine the first of April joke …

To make sure a team doesn’t waste away tickets with this unit, make it like the tanks or planes with a max of 1 or 2 saboteurs at the same time.

surprisingly they did the paint for different biomes but is locked behind pay wall

While I loved the “lone wolf” mode (I did actually play it exclusively when it was still available in public matches back in the day) I somehow would rather have seen a change like actually merging the Guerillas with the Paratroopers and give them the ability to paradrop/move about in enemy territory…AS WAS THEIR BLOODY JOB!

Not sure how the Saboteur class will work out, I see lots of potential issues with it…we shall see (or maybe this is really something like an April Fool’s prank?).

I tend to be one of the more positive people on the forums but even I don’t like the idea of this class…

The easiest way for the saboteur to get sneaky kills will be to AP mine spawns because nobody will see them making the kill. So therefore, the need to defend spawns (with AP mines) will increase… I’m assuming they will trigger enemy mines. This will lead to mine spamming. When this happens, the game tends to be a lot less fun.

As others have pointed out this ‘one man screwing around’ squad will effectively mean one less squad fighting for the objective. If there are, for instance, three squads replaced with saboteurs (i.e. replacing a 21 man assault team with three dudes hiding in the bushes marking targets) this will hand the match to the enemy.

And while we know this, it won’t stop people doing it. These squads will probably achieve a high K/D ratio, so a certain part of the playerbase will be attracted to them - team objectives be damned!
