I am a fan of fighting in painstakingly recreated historical cities (but a hater of BT-7 in Berlin or Su-9 1946 in Stalingrad).
I really wish old gen consoles got their own version of the game and we the PC Overlords wouldn’t have to sacrifice what can be done.
Would absolutely love to see more recreations of historical cities like Budapest, Cologne, Konigsberg or Sevastopol, as well as more individual landmarks and assets in the existing locations such as Stalingrad’s Elevator or Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport!
That is, if there exists some magical solution that wouldn’t negatively impact other aspects of the game.
But that’s not what your solution is offering. There’s plenty of late war equipment on low BRs that would be for most of the time locked out of late war maps. For no good reason whatsoever, other than that some guy is of an opinion that low BRs = early war.
For your argument to be valid, BRs would first have to reflect the year of deployment. Otherwise, there could be completely different criteria for which maps should be on which BRs, such as map size (if we ever get any significantly larger ones - Just like in War Thunder) or how open the map is, whatever.
To base it around the year of the war simply makes no sense. Totally random criteria in current state of things.
Well personally I would want it as hard bans and not soft preferences, but even that would be better than being sent to map/BR combinations I have no interest in playing 24/7 as it’s happening now.

By the way, it is suggested that the shop signboard could be more diverse. Moreover, the characters used on the plaque include Russian or traditional Chinese.

Any player who has experienced all four nations can clearly see it: the bunkers in Tunisia; the indoor layouts, train stations, buildings, and staircases shared between Moscow and Myanmar; the railways and train cars used in both Berlin and the Ardennes; the low walls recycled across Stalingrad, Berlin, the Ardennes, and Myanmar; the iron towers in the Pacific—my goodness! These assets have been reused so extensively that I can identify every single one of them individually.
There isn’t a single recognizable landmark among them. I even suspect whether that airfield was modeled based on satellite imagery of the ruins of the former Unit 731 site, because only that could explain such a vast open space. As a Chinese person, not just as a veteran Enlisted player, seeing a long-awaited map turn out like this makes me furious. This is nothing short of an asset drought crisis!
I’m speechless. Since when do buildings and structures look nearly identical across maps set on opposite sides of the globe? Have the designers in the Enlisted universe gone extinct?
I’m trying to stay off leaks and early build videos to enjoy a new map on my own, but the few inevitable screenshots I’ve seen have too many signs in Russian.
I know that the business centers of Harbin and/or other major Manchurian cities could have a lot of Russian shops and businesses with signs in Russian, but the majority of signs should still be in Chinese.
During the period of the puppet state of Manchukuo, there were indeed a few Japanese signs. However, if you are familiar with the localization process of the developers for Japanese (including soldier voices, weapon and equipment introductions, etc.), they may not be proficient and lack professional Japanese translators. Or the priority of revising Japanese texts is very low. Therefore, on some plaques, there may be unexpected translation errors, which can lead to unnecessary misunderstandings and conflicts.
Just like the Chinese text issue that just occurred.
This is the difference caused by different regions, cultural traditions, folk customs and ideologies.
ps: Just like in the German map, some flags, signs, or German slogans with eagle patterns or other symbols cannot appear in the game.
This also applies to Japan.
Both Germany and Japan were defeated countries in World War II.
For the current map of Manchuria, I merely hope that the developers will solve the simple, basic and high-priority issues first.
Afterwards, a large-scale reset of the map can be carried out. At the very least, the map was made to have the correct Manchu/Chinese style, elements, and a few landmark buildings.
