Nerf the damage of the AVS-36-20 to 15.3

Right now, in BR 5, the AVS-36-20 with 15.8 damage is the strongest weapon by far. This combined with the body armor makes it completely unbalanced.

There is no reason for the AVS-36-20 to have the best fire rate, muzzle velocity, AND more damage than any other rifle from the other 3 factions.

Also, this increased damaged value comes from the Stalingrad campaign, so it has nothing to do with current game balancing.

I propose nerfing the damage to 15.3 to keep it in line with the others select fire weapons.

And hopefully, when the body armor will get removed from the soviets, everyone will have the option to play more than just soviets in custom games.

I see more than 10 people voted No on this very basic change.
Also, not even one argument against it. Do you know why ? Because there is none. You can’t have 15.8 damage just because " Soviets stronk " is not an argument.

Like I said above, it already has the best ROF , the best bullet velocity and damage.
And as someone who plays both Germany and USSR a lot, I can tell you that AVS is way easier to control than the FG 42 II.

AVS also has the fastest aiming speed—0.85 compared to 0.8 for FG and T-20. Autohey is even worse.

The AVS should be nerfed to a lower damage. Compared to the AVT, it offers higher ROF while still maintaining good single shot accuracy and horizontal recoil, so it is THE gun to use when winning duels. There’s a good chance BA won;t be removed, so in that case a soviet with BA and a reduced damage AVS is still a force to be reckoned with. It’s quite obvious that a high ROF can allow a gun to be competitive in COMP.

The outstanding advantage of the AVS is really a combination of its ROF and and accuracy in duels, the damage on top is just insult to injury for other factions.
