Nerf the damage of the AVS-36-20 to 15.3

Those all seem like miniscule differences… rof is subjective as well.

Definitely not reason to buff it to the standard damage numbers for rifle… I dont have evidence but im also pretty sure the mag capacity was listed as a reason the damage wouldn’t be changed

Which is better: 20 one-shots or 30 two-shots?

20 one shots… obviously… but having 30 one shots is not balanced with the others.

Instead of nerfing recoil control, I propose reducing the damage of all SFRs to 13.2 and Autohei’s damage to 12.3.

It doesn’t really matter, in my opinion, statistical discrepancy.
Anyway, in theory, AVS has a more complex recoil pattern (yes, you just move the mouse down), and the damage was a compensation for the poor accuracy.

YoOOOO M8!

Sure, but i’m not aware of any gun with 14.8 as the top damage. usually it’s a standard value which corresponds to other weapons using the same round (SVT 38 for example). So 14.4 is fitting.

The Soviets at BR5 have an extremely poor player base (they only have a 43% win rate on Enlisted Roll Call), so it would be better to leave them unchanged at least until that improves. I can’t deny that they are too strong.

Pathetic excuse for keeping a nations OP weaponry.

Aside from the rather awkward mechanism when used in automatic mode, it is literally Japan’s only BR5 weapon; the developers don’t nerf it any further simply because an entire faction would effectively vanish from the game. Meanwhile, the Fedorov is an “assault rifle” though it’s essentially the same thing and is available to the soldier class with the most perks in the game; the AS-44 offers handling comparable to the STG but with better performance, and the RD-44 is practically the same but with a 100-round belt. It might fall short against German MGs, but Japan has virtually nothing comparable.

That sounds good too; plus, the game’s logic is generally based on bullet diameter to determine the base damage. That’s why .45 ACP SMGs deal more damage than .30 carbines, the only real differences lie in bullet velocity and range. On the other hand, German weapons deal 15 damage but have the highest recoil in the game. Personally, I find it absurd that Russian semi-autos have such low recoil given their caliber, though it’s acceptable if the damage output isn’t too high.

Nothing to worry about, I like the dominance of the Soviets in armaments.
FG 42 II isn’t that much worse, and I don’t care much about assault rifles.

We should also not forget about the tradition of poor recoil control on the FG 42 II

AVS-36-20 was a mistake to add tbh the game balance was better before with the AVT-40-20 because THA had more bullets, AVT had more damage in exchange of rof T20 being the best of both worlds and the FG42 being the FG42

but who cares XD developers wont listen after all so… theres no point on requesting pointless changes…
