maybe the one who has been wrong on i believe every single stat they cited so far besides aphe filler. and in practice it doesnt bounce unless ur bad at the game.the chi nu gun doesnt have a cap. cap improves angle performance. m3 cannon does have a cap. this is reflected in game.
i am leaving if you want to take that as a win youre welcome
i mean i might as well . Ive been taking nothing but Ws this entire conversation. It seems the community agrees with me too. Its ok buddy. maybe youll be right about something next time
Move all Japan Tanks to br 1 and a KV-1 would still be able to take them out anyways
To My point of view Japan wasnt prepared when it comes to weapons but at least they are showing that their players are superior
“Compared to other BR2 tanks” conveniently leaves out the long 50mm cannons that Germany gets, which have similar pen on top of those tanks just being underpowered for BR2 anyways.
Also the tanks that Germany and Japan have to face at BR3 have much more effective armor, so a T-28 can get away with having 67mm of pen, that kinda pen on a German or Japanese tank would be fit for BR1.
Ah yes i had forgotten about the puma… i’m not near the game right now so couldn’t go look

The Type 3 cannon on Chi-Nu has literally the same stats - almost 1:1 with few minor fluctuations in the HE shell. Just the Sherman has ballistic capped shell which makes it ever so tiny bit better
The M3 and the Type 3 are practically equal. Except the Type 3 has to fight tanks with much more armor at its own BR on top of being protected by BR1 levels of armor.
Yeah the only thing m3 lee rlly struggles with is pz 3 n
Not really, PZ III J1 is stuck with 50mm shells with weak HE filler.
Even Panzer IV has very weak HE filler in the AP shells while Chi-Nu has very powerful APHE that can OHK almost all tanks it can pen in one spot (spots like cupola).
Its a BR over compression issue, Chi-Nu should be one BR lower than Chi-Nu II, but also a BR higher than HO-I.
Amount of He filler almost makes no difference in enlisted. It’s just as long as you got it. Not to mention the 50mm has double the reload rate of the chi nu along with a coax machine gun.
The ho i and chi nu are extremely similar. Ho i has very slightly quicker reload, more ammo, better angle performance. Chi nu has more pen against flat/slightly slanted armor and also he filler. Everything else is identical. That and the fact that the ho i is the weakest meta br 2 tank across the factions more than justifies a down tier for the chi nu
True, but still you should be comparing Chi-Nu’s main gun to the 75mm M3 cannon of the sherman since they are much more similar than the 50mm KWK39 of the Pz III J1.
I don’t agree here, but I rather not derail the topic now.
I wouldn’t say the Chi-Nu is even an upgrade over the Ho-I, the Ho-I is better for HE slinging and can pen Shermans more consistently. The Chi-Nu is more of a side grade from the Ho-I, to the point where I used the Ho-I at BR3 before the Chi-Nu II was moved down.
this might be the most moronic statement i have seen on this forum
True, Chi-Nu has very bad performance against slopped armour.
Alright, I guess thats fair.
Chi-Nu trades its BR3 gun with terrible BR1 armour, so I guess its realistic BR should indeed be lower than a Sherman which has both BR3 cannon and armour.

Disprove me then
He is correct though.
102mm of pen… Against non slopped armour! Its performance is piss poor against slopped armour and its pen over distance drops sharply too, while HEAT is HEAT and does the same job over any distance and losses less pen against slopped armour so HO-I is actually more reliable to kill Sherman.
