More Faction Grenade Options

As a fan of Japan, I’ll use that example with them. While there are already some in the game, it would make sense to change certain models or add some that are missing, along with certain animations. The same goes for other factions. What do you think?

oooo, whats the one on the far left?

What’s the difference between the type 98b and 98A stick grenades?

I’m actually working on a grenade suggestion, but I’m only covering missing types like AT grenades and some other additions

But new grenades in general would still be cool. Like the German egg grenade. Just because!

At the bare minimum explosion packs need replacement.

It would be cool if every faction had their own explosive pack skin like German Geballte Ladung, but at the same time I have a soft spot for the explosive pack, it’s all we’ve ever known from the very beginning

This suggestion is too vague. If it were only used as a skin for grenades, I would support it.
If you suggest a special grenade, they may too powerful, and you will get grenade SPAM, which will ruin everything.

I’ll add some examples that I know of.

And the only German grenade other than the M24 that I know of.

The Type 98A is the first prototype, and the 98B is the more “advanced” design that adhered better to surfaces compared to the previous one; I also believe it had a larger explosive charge and as you can see the models are similar but different

I’ll take the No. 2 “Gammon Bomb” just as a TNT pack reskin, I’d be happy…

What exactly is it used for?

something similar like molotov, but with phosporus mixed: . Incendiary Hand Grenade

This weapon has a diameter of 2.2 inches and an over-all length of 13.5 inches, including the wooden handle 5.3 inches in length.

The incendiary filling of the grenade is composed of white phosphorus and carbon disulfide with 41 cylindrical rubber pellets. Upon explosion, these pellets are scattered and bounce about, igniting any inflammable matter with which they may come in contact.

It seems the game developers not only failed to fully develop the mortar tech tree, but also skimped on anti-tank grenades and infantry grenades.

don’t tell me?, actually some nations only have HE mortars like America or Japan, but Soviets and Germany have AT ones

This is the result of the game developers cutting corners. As you know, this game was merged in 2023, and not only were squad historical units in the weapon tech tree cut or removed, but even the mortar tech tree was incomplete. Therefore, the developers need to fill in and improve these issues in future game development.

no because they should replace detpacks with proper AT nades first

@Naohmcete

I once found this website which depicts weapons of the Wehrmacht, including grenades and handheld explosives. Wanted to do a thread about German grenades with that long time ago but didnt had the time

Maybe this is something for you? (Its German but translation should do it I guess)
https://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Waffen/handgranaten.htm

We’ve been asking bundle grenade, sticky grenade, magnetic mine, etc since the dawn of this game.
But devs been ignoring and never answered
