i unlocked the MP38, but it has literally the same stat of the MP28.

the visual models are also identical, so they’re just reskins to introduce artificial scarcity for upgrades, as you cant use kar98k parts to upgrade a vz and vice versa.
Russia on the other hand gets the german M30 Luftwaffe Drilling shotgun reskin TOZ-B instead of the MP38 equivalent and their variant of the Kar98k (M91/30) deals more damage than their variant of the VZ (dragoon)

but i’m a simple lady, if i see someone that is not friendly, i shoot them.
the point was, i don’t understand why and how different guns have the same stats
Most likely just placeholder stuff. Which is kinda sad, devs could at least have tweaked it a little bit.
