jokes aside, if you play germans and than you switch to the russians, you will notice some real differencces. i did that, and the russian guns are way more stable and better compared to the germans one. i don’t wanna call bias, because before the update all guns were ok in my personal opinion, exept the german smg. way too accurate with insane rate of fire for being such gun.
but now, things have becomed worse. until you upgrade the weapons.
the point is, if you upgrade your weapons, like 1 or two stars, the guns will work " propely ". but you are upgrading your weapons for somewhat deal with russian start weapons. i don’t know how much upgrades benefict the russian weapons. but it’s disavantage for the germans that’s for sure.
it’s sad to say, but the meta is mooving people there.
The bolt actions aren’t terrible, I’m pretty sure they just don’t have an equivalent to the Mosin Dragoon (Although i haven’t used the pre war Kar yet)
i used the pre k98, the problem is, it just has less recoil and that’s all. because from the distance you will still need 3 bullets for just 1 enemy soldier.
to be honest, i noticed more this when i use newer squads with place holders rifle. because all those rifles has the same stats. exept for the other version that has less recoil.
Does the pre war Kar get 15 max damage, I wouldnt mind if their was a 12,13, and 15 max damage rifle on each side. If not then the Germans need a heavy bolt action rifle.
About PPK… well honestly? Im having far too often battles that are pretty much decided by overwhelming amount of PPks, mostly in invasion mode. But it may be also caused by german guns being nerfed so badly in comparison to soviet counterparts.
