How to address the weaknesses of the semi-automatic rifles in the German BR3?

Did everyone also think that the German G41 (the one that needed to be loaded using a bridge clamp) had a hard time when facing the Soviet SVT?
My solution is as follows:
There are already existing G-43 and Zh-29 models in the game. We can try to downgrade the performance of one of them and then distribute it as a new weapon in the 3-star room.
In this way:
:white_check_mark: Germany finally has a Tier 3 semi-automatic rifle that can be compared to the SVT, with a detachable magazine.
:white_check_mark: By leveraging existing resources, the development team should have found it easier to implement.
What do you all think of this idea? Is it better to choose G-43 or Zh-29?

  • G-43
  • Zh-29
  • Mondragon (10-round magazine exclusive)
  • Others ( )

or we could buff the g41 and nerf the svt 38 to using stripper clips, i mean nerfing it enough to compare to the garand would be hard
the garand currently has a 3.1 second reload and 8 bullet magazine
the g43 has a ten round magazine and 2 second reload
keeping the garand at 3 seconds would mean nerfing the g43 to 3.85 or close to the sad reload of the g41
on the other hand we could nerf the g41 to 3 seconds and buff the garand to 2.25 seconds
it all depends on which is less effort
buff the current german br3 rifle and nerf the us
or move a rifle to br3 nerf it and buff the us
because despite how historic it is the garand is not good enough to be at thee same br as the g43
and keep the bayonet is not worth 2 bullets per magazine

Oh, it’s really difficult to find a rifle with a ten-round magazine for the Allied forces. Finally, we found one, but it’s a rare gun from France. If only Johnson could make a modification to it…

G41 is totally okay, SVT 38 is the problem.

However, I have to admit that the design of svt38 is extremely excellent. If the intention was to deliberately make it into a fortress with two bridges, squeezing it in would be a bit too aggressive. Because this kind of thing could clearly be accomplished by the logistics department.

Based on the voting results, I think the G43 might really have been poisoned. I’m not sure if this gun can be equipped with a bayonet. During the Halloween event, when I used this gun, I felt that its rapid fire was just like random shooting.

  • Buff G41 reload

  • Nerf SVT-38 reload (made it stripper clip loaded)

  • Unify all semis at ~15.3 damage based on reload speeds

  • Remove the Soviet body armor damage reduction

Here, fixed

buff the g41 to what i think its currently 4.5 or 4.8 second
which is to be fair criminally slow
so garand being 3.1 i think 3.75-85 would be fair
make the type 4 svt 38 and johnson the same

Oh look another germania saffers thread, g41 is ok where it is, svt38 too, it could have a slower mag reload and a bit lower accuracy than now, but making it reload from clips is completely ahistorical and delusional

or even move 43 to br3 because it’s whatever, it’s not even good

It’s better then any sa america rifle it not just more bullets it’s the faster reload, and its not anti historical the svt38 and Man rifles were stripper clip and mag fed because if limited availability if magazine so sure move it to br3 just lock Germany to only fighting ussr and us to japan
Secondly Germany made 400k g43 in the same time use made 3 300 000
Secondly the g43 came out in 1943 while the use began issuing the garand in the late 20,s
Again sto balancing Germany and the USSR against only each other forgetting the us uk or allies exist

Svt38/40s were mag loaded mainly, the stripper clip story is wehraboo lore based on made up scarcity to justify it being reloaded with stripper clips cause their shitty rifle has non detachable magazine.
If we considered scarcity in game half of german tree wouldn’t exist

The SVT-38 is a gas-operated rifle with a short-stroke, spring-loaded piston above the barrel and a tilting bolt,[1] a system that would later be used in the FN FAL.[9] The SVT-38 was equipped with a bayonet and a 10-round detachable magazine. The receiver was open-top, which enabled reloading of the magazine using five-round Mosin–Nagant stripper clips.[9] The sniper variant had an additional locking notch for a see-through scope mount and was equipped with a 3.5×21 PU telescopic sight.[9]

my point is by any measure by production, capabilities, introduction the garand and the g43 do not belong in the same br if g43 is br3 then the garand is br2

1938–present (SVT-38)

1940–present (SVT-40)

  • 1936–1957 (as the standard U.S. service rifle)[1]

g41 19041
g43 1943

so tell me how the g43 as is with a 2 second reload is br3

br2 sa 5/6 rounds
br3 sa 8/10 have it make sense

also the garand would be 13 rounds and have a 1.25 second reload if it was as op to the g43 as the g43 is to the garand

yep 1936 and 1943 same br

the g43 can be br3 it just has to have a 3.85 second reload

Forum users with Cyrillic names never fail to deliver

It’s always ‘Oh Germany is actually strong!’ or ‘But what about Soviets! They are so weak!’

Followed by the most bullshit take one could see

it’s not like germany hasn’t recieved like 15 made up bullshit buffs last year with soviets getting like 3, and they’re still whining the most
curious

Are the buffs in the room with us right now?

Sorry i just dreamed of 75 mm HEAT capable of penning everything frontally, zk buffs, beretta br decrease, fake mkb 15 mag, scotti naval rifle etc

Oh you mean the Pz3N that got uptiered at the same time so it’s not the strongest BR2 tank anymore?

It’s still weaker than PPSh, the only thing going for this gun is the dispersion

Also weaker than the PPSh, it has almost half of its RoF while only having 0.2 damage more and 5 more bullets. It’s still weaker even after the PPSh got it’s crazy dispersion fixed

Thats weaker than most guns actually. It’s 15 rounds 2 shot AR at BR3, goddamn Thompson .30 cal just outclasses it by essentially every metric

The 15 rounds AR that can’t even 1 shot if the Soviet are using their body armor? Or the second best AR after the Fedorov Avtomat thats a TT weapon?

what a load of mental gymnastics, there’s a difference between crying germania saffers and asking for actual decent buffs, you seem to be only crying, that’s why i called you out.
And my nickname doesn’t even matter, i have about 2 times more battles in Germany than USSR.
All i can see on this forum is endless, relentless whining on how Germany is weak when in game i can see that germany is extremely strong and competitive, you have geniune skill issues if you can’t deal with having slightly worse br3 semi auto, a nation shouldn’t be strong in everything (even tho after all the whining germany approaches this level, they just have to beg for US air nerfs now)

I did, I gave a solution to unifying all semi autos to be similarly decent. As it is now the G41 is just a direct downgrade to the Johnson rifle and by significant margain.

Its you who just comes in, spews some bullshit and then accuses people of claiming that germany suffers when its blantantly obvious that certain equipment in the game is just not as powerful as it should be

The game really does have some equipment disparity that should be addressed, whether its germany, soviets, Japan or the US

I’ve asked for Super Pershing, high tier AT launchers for US and Japan, better heavy tank like T-44-100 for the Soviets, better attacker and fighter for BR5 soviets, fixing the BR3-4 Soviet and German plane bombloads, adjusting US BR3-5 planes as they were too strong, buffing BR2 US planes as they are too weak, adjusting BR3 and BR5 german weaponry, removal of body armor, giving Japan some proper planes and adjusting Ki-100 with Otsu Kai

Just the fact that you ended up on the post that discusses rather obvious power disparity between the BR3 Soviets and BR3 Germans doesnt mean that people whine about Gemany suffers, but rather that you are incapable of firing more than 2 synapses to see certain balancing problems and address them properly
