Currently the Gewehr 98 utterly dominates the Axis sniper lineup until BR IV where we get the Sniper Gewehr 43. Why this gun was moved to BR I from BR II, I don’t understand, it is insanely powerful and overshadows both versions of the scoped Kar98k. That effectively removes the scoped Pre-War Kar98k from consideration, and replaces the scoped Kar98k once the Gewehr 98 is researched.
As it stands Germany does not have a BR III option for snipers.
Bolt actions dominate BR I-II as they should but BR III is when options should open up.
To that end I suggest that the Sniper Gewehr 41 be added to the Techtree. The premium squad can be updated to the Sniper Gewehr 41 (M) so the owners do not lose any value.
Otherwise the devs have put themselves in a corner and the Sniper Gewehr 41 (M) has to be put into the techtree if they will not alter the premium squad.
So vote! Give Germany A BR III Sniper Rifle!

The Germans definitely need a BR3 semi auto sniper rifle, and the G41 would probably be the only semi auto option I could see, especially since their already is one in the premium squad.
Not only do the Dev’s need to add the G41 as the German BR3 semi auto sniper rifle, but they need to change the Soviet SVT-38 sniper rifle to “STRIPPER CLIPS”, as well as the non sniper version. Stripper clips for BR3 should be common sense, well, unless there is an obvious faction bias.
I doubt that would ever happen. Sniper mosins are a good example of this too. Tech tree mosin sniper has PU scope while event sniper mosin has PE scope.
