because the “real life” fire rate is equal to the upgraded guns, which is a whole other discussion.

if you prevent filler bots in lone fighter, you get 3v6 matches. I do not see how that would be fun
you can not force people to play the mode, and the bots are needed to fill up the teams because most people do not like playing the mode.

imo they do. rn we can have 147+147=196 soldiers ingame at any given time in a maxed out match with a party on both sides.
with War Thunder’s netcode, the limit is 64 normal players in a 32v32 setup. The playercount for Enlisted was reduced to make room on the server to process the AI logic, which is much cheaper to compute than handling the inputs of a player. As a result, thanks to the addition of the AI squads, the maximum ammount of soldiers has been trippled, which allows the battle to be more chaotic and “alive”.

Just adding a aggro gain speed modifier that depends on range, allowing them to respond faster at short range, and slower at long range, in addition to optimizing their pathing and cover finding, they should become pretty reliable.

RNG progression has been an issue since forever and we have been trying to get it chanced to no avail because the majority can’t agree what the “fixed” system should be like.

Well I agree with you about M8. That was kinda stupid of me. My point was that since Puma was primarily used as scout vechicle and has wheels. So allies could get something similar and that’s M8. Also I would like to see it in game :sweat_smile:. But as I said I agree with you that it would not make any balance sense.

gives it better on-road speed, but worse turning and off-road speed.
the M5 is pretty solid, they do not really have anything else that is like the puma other than the M8 greyhound, which would be slower off-road and have weaker armor.

That led to a train of thought that leaves me asking- if I put a hedgehog in the road, and a Puma ploughs into it at full speed, will it take damage?

You used to be able to kill your entire crew in war thunder by ramming into a tree at high speed, but I think that was nerfed or removed outright.

How do you know you get 3vs6 matches? Where is that info? Only 10 people have bought the game? first, you would have to try. Don’t you think?

Also, I still don’t understand why you have to force people to play with bots. Leave the people who don’t want to play bots. You want to? Is respectable. But don’t force me. If bots are going to be the basis of all game modes, I and a lot of people will probably stop playing. This is better?. And many people will not be attracted to the idea of playing against bots. The same as a forced crossplay.

If it is true that there are few players and bots are required to play, it is logical to use them. But if the game grows, it is a good idea to let the players choose not to play with them.

Well, you clearly tried the mode more than me. Tell me, how often do you get more than 10 players in a lobby of lone fighters, including both teams? Especially during more weird times, like 1AM GMT on a EU server?

The developers simply want to prevent matches from being empty, so they fill them up with bots.

If the game is big enough to consistently fill up lobbies, there would be no need for filler bots in lone fighters.

I only play this mode. And no problem to find game. Never.

Thus, we think the same. If it is necessary to fill in while people buy the game, it is totally logical and acceptable. So I do support the decision. But, this should be clarified, because many people can misinterpret it and have a wrong idea of the game. The bots are temporary.

Also I want to say, apart from the bots and the current crossplay, I am totally in love with the game. I play on XSX and it looks spectacular, amazing. I would like to make some suggestions later. I hope this game grows and a lot of people buy it.

finding a game =/= finding a game that’s completely full.

The bots are here to stay for the squad mode. For lone fighters, they will probably still be around to fill up the occasional lobby as well. I just think there is no use in complaining about AI in a game where AI squadmates is one of the most distinguishing features about it.

I’m not complaining about Squad mode. I neither like nor does it make sense to me that game mode with bots. But I understand that others may like it. It’s fine. But on youtube, I saw that the lone fighters mode existed and I liked it.

And if the lone fight mode is filled with bots because there are no people there yet, I see it as a good idea too. As long as it’s temporary in this mode, no problem.

I made mistake about HE shells.

Some of them have fire rate equal to upgrades but not all of them. M3 submachineguns have much lesser fire rate then in real life M3a1 for instance has in game RPM 370-410, but irl it has 450 RPM

Also I too don’t get the point of having worse fire rate without upgrades than irl standard issued weapons if anything soldiers could tweak them to have smaller or bigger fire rate.

upgraded they get 15-20% higher rate of fire, making it 450.

No, you can see underneath that that there are upgrades, including a green +15% rate of fire.
You can upgrade the gun by disassembling spare guns for spare parts, and hoping RNG doesn’t cuck you. When it succeeds, the gun gets +1 star and gets the next upgrade.
Once the upgrade is obtained, the stat it improves will turn green.

Edit: Air-service springfield is the most OP shit, but Pumas seem virtually immune to det packs. I hit one with 2 det backs right on it and it just turned tires yellow.

i mean, i do play lone wolf for the only reason that makes my soldier progression system a bit faster.

but that’s all. that’s the only reason why i play that.

although, i do respect the idea of having full PVP mode. it could be also fun battles in only tanks with full humans controlled crew. but we’ll have to see.

but enlisted it’s mainly about bots. as that’s the most expencive feature. and they are improving. they still need alot of work, but hey. we are beginning.

to be honest, i think explosives pack are bugged.

i once landed an explosive at 0.5 meter and it just made the engine and tracks orange of the M3/m5 :confused:

now I just had an instance where I suicide-bombed a puma, got the explosive right under it, and it killed 1 crew member.

Yes, it would be interesting to see PC players vs new console players that just got added. I see console players in top 2-5 slots all the time. But maybe they should get aim assistant, or something? Because keyboard and mouse are just so much better. But whatever.

Otherwise, new patch is fabulous. So much content. It is too bad we will get a wipe, so I can’t make any real progress, just have fun. GG

Explosive packs are really hit or miss
›Place one on ground next to PzIII tracks
›It explodes and kills it

›Stick one literally on top of the roadwheels in the tracks
›Detonates and kills a handful of crew

That or the times you’ll drop one next to or under one and it decides to just do absolutely nothing.

I wanted the M1 Garland to be the initial equipment if possible. It seems odd that the US Army in 1944 would continue to use the M1903, even if it was the Battle of Wake Island. I also recommend that the BAR and Thompson and M1919 be implemented immediately.
