The M1921AC is Japanese one and the mew American BR5 SMG, a 30 round version would fit better into BR4.

Last I checked the Mkb42H was on BR 5 and its event counterpart, the Mkb42H (15 rounds) has 15 rounds and has a 2 BR difference and even same damage of 9.6…
Now last time I checked spreading misinformation is against Community guidelines… section 3.7 to be specific

If we take some math as well the Mkb42H 15 rounds has 50% less ammo than the Mkb42H 30 rounds
While the Thomspon USMC has 33% less ammo than the Thompson M1928/21
Both cases has both a difference of 2BRs
So if we follow this logic of yours we should also lower the BR of the Mkb42H to BR 4 as well?

I don’t mind lowering an MKB, but again
Type 2 a - 30 rounds, same stats - BR III
Type 2 - 50 rounds, same stats - BR IV
Both in TT
P.S. Remind to break the rules during a discussion is a bit of a stretch. I’ve been a moderator of this forum in 2020-2021 and 2022, and I’ve never imposed any sanctions on my opponents. However, this is just my opinion.
its infact the only br4 smg JP has.
I voted No to both suggestion because I would like to see less powercreep in the game.
Since the merge happened we got more and more weapon going down in BR, but we rarely see the other way around.

Japs are in such a weird spot, they really dont have any alternative SMGs to compare to
What I’d do instead is look and compare the Type 2 against Thompson M1928/21 and just see how they stack up, or hell you can even compare the Type 100

Japanese have been in a weird spot since day one.
Their semis and tanks are even weirder with their BR placements.

I voted No, simply because Russia and America doesnt really have a MKB42H counterpart (as in a sluggish-assault rifle) , if time comes where both of these factions receive their copy of a similar weapon (and Japan as well to complete the 4 faction balance). I’d rather have all factions in the same level of playing field (that comes for TT weaponry, I wont usually count Event or Prem squads)

I like to see a 10-rounds Fedorov with clip reload at br 3 for su. Not sure its a counterpart but a nice event weapon anyway

Type 100 late was good before its buffs and nerfs. Now its not much of a weapon.
Also I got Type with 50 rounds for Japs prem in br 3. Its a strong weapon
I voted no for thompson and yes for mkb. I think m21/28 thompson should be buffed so it can be the more accurate and controllable choice in br 4 while 50 round tommy sacrifices precision with capacity. That way there is a reason to use both. If m21/28 gets downtiered it will just make all other br 3 tommies obsolete.
As for mkb i don’t believe it is great idea having 3 different stg like assault rifles in br 5 when only 1 of them is worth using. Mkb 42h is already one of the weakest assault rifles and it isn’t neccesarily better than br 4 kiraly so it wouldn’t make anything obsolete if it got downtiered. It would be a higher damage but slower rpm alternative in br 4 germany

Its one more BRIV Thompson for 30 rounds - an M1 with a higher rof and good recoil. So its still ability to choose
Why do they need this? MKB has poor dps, but usable long range power for an automatic weapon. This would only be “thematically” unique, but from a gameplay perspective it wouldn’t matter since you can already kill targets at +100m distance with most low BR SMGs with ease.

Exactly, a clip reload automatic gun would just be a gimmick anyways, a small capacity rifle combined with bad reload speed wouldn’t break the game at all.
we already discussed this with Euthymia…
We seen it with ARs, Jets, AT launchers, AT guns that factions want to be 1:1 balanced no matter how stupid, pointless or uninteresting prototypes/captured equipment needs to be added.

dunno, red vs blue balance is something no one can moan about.
If only they actually did proceed with it rather than leaving that to half-assed state as well.
