What are you guys complaining about? It’s not meant to only* give you squads cosmetics you haven’t unlocked… now sure you’re at a loss if you get customization item but i don’t see the reason in complaining… you’re getting their hat to use on other people
As someone with an excess of premium squads maybe i don’t see this as an issue… are you hoping to unlock cosmetics for other squads you dont have? Soviet, japan and US ones are really barely distinguishable from the normal uniforms… i wouldn’t be complaining if you got that hat… sure it looks goofy though.
What i meant by that was the purpose of the cosmetics in the box… aren’t to only give you ones you haven’t unlocked the ability to purchase… hence why you can get both ones you have and don’t.
So if i have all the squads with unique cosmetics so that means i wouldn’t get any more in the box in which case removing the filler, not happening.
I know what you meant, but I disagree with it and I think this is rather a bug. Because if it isn’t, then it’d be a very bold scam, basically stealing ~240 gold from the players.
If you have all the squads in the box, then you’re basically entitled to get something better. But if you’re missing even one squad, then the 13% chance is still present.
Why would they ship it out a paid box that’s bugged? Answer: they wouldn’t.
Getting a customization item is already a loss even if you didn’t have it… how is it a scam? You are paying for the ability to get rewards including singular pieces of event and premium customization… where does it state you won’t get items from squads you already unlocked? It doesn’t… so it’s not a bug or scam.
You’re kidding yourself if you think they wouldn’t include some form of filler and also if they did do it like this then people would complain about how P2W it is… and how unfair it is to those who can only buy the normal box
Which somewhat would be fair… you are paying to ge better odds anyway… no filler i wouldn’t complain about… but you are misrepresenting it by calling it a bug.
The silver box gets worse if you have every item from a category, because the drop chances from the category you own everything from, gets completely added to silver drops instead of weapons for example.
This is unfair, because the silver rewards are mostly less silver than a box costs.

I disagree. I get the ability to dress like a certain squad without the BR restrictions and the ability to be ‘from this faction’ without the non-HA weapons.
And you are acting like there’s a whole description including every detail and purpose of this addition. There isn’t.
Well, the common consensus is that premium squads & weapons are worse than TT squads and weapons, so people probably wouldn’t complain. Then again, I guess there are some noticably better exceptions…
Initial complaint was about a mechanic that was different than what was expected after the articles.
The point now though being: The wish of those gacha boxes being fair and coherent as that’s best for the players that are willing to buy them and Darkflow, which wants to generate money. People will more likely spend money when they think it’s a fair deal.
A) It doesn’t make sense if you can obtain uniform pieces that look goofy on their own and where large parts of that uniform are not even obtaineable. That should be easy to fix though.
B) There’s no need to add stuff your customers don’t have any need for. I welcome the mechanic that we can buy more cosmetics once we unlocked it. Which makes the option obsolete why we would want to obtain them again through this crate - at a much higher price on top. Same with influencing the drop chances by including copy-paste squads no one wants yet giving them the highest chances.
C) They might as well make cosmetics a unique drop that get eliminated from the pool after pulling (other games implement a “duplicate protection” as well, which increases your chances to get useful stuff out of crates and reward if you already invested into the game plus include a pity system), make these unlocked cosmetics obtainable via appearance orders and make the required percentage of blanks for these crates appearance orders in the distribution of e.g. 50 / 75 / 100 / 150. This way players who pulled a blank can at least choose how these should look like.
D) A lot of the weapons pulls already act as a blank, even though people don’t notice it. If you look through the list of “weapons” you will find lots of guns that are basically just reskinned versions of existing guns and offer no special value. Aside from these you even have the chance of pulling a Liberator, which is equivalent to a slap in your face, as no one in his right mind would find any use for this gun. Yet even the guns from the “battle pass weapons” categories come random at 300 Gold per chest, which is only somewhat less than what you could buy Gold Order guns in previous times when discounted - yet you could choose which gun to buy back then and had no gambling. This adds to evaluation that these boxes are simply a bad deal.
I’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon: people who don’t spend money say the introduction of the Gold Coin Boxes is terrible, while those who are willing to invest in Enlisted say it’s a good idea.
I pay for both premium and premium squads yet this is not a good idea. It’s just gambling with real money for the chance to get two pairs of fucking pants you need to buy more of with gold anyways, instead of the appearance orders that are specifically made for and exclusively used to purchase cosmetics.
I’m curious, does this gold box take out items you already own? I ask because I got a few old premium squads and I was looking in the box contents and can’t find those squads I got from it.
Second note: there really isn’t a whole lot in this box to make it worth more then a few spins. I own most of the stuff from the box before it was added.
I mean i wouldn’t really say it was a good idea… but it was definitely nice getting all the removed premiums i couldn’t and it didn’t want to pay full price for.
The customization bloat is definitely filler… which i was ignorsnt enough to say there wasn’t any… too many cosmetics that aren’t even distinguishable from normal ones… primarily for nations besides germany
And they didn’t even include them all… or even matching sets? wtf is this? Was it too much work?
Those pants are from the pacific set for thompson 100 squad… and the top is USMC thompson… now the latter didn’t have matching set but the former did… atleast there is matching hat for the USMC top. (not shown)

Yup. I bought more after getting all the squads and for 11k gold it was just more clothes and only one weapon of note which was a sword… perhaps removing the customization you own isn’t too bad of an idea after all as i do not see myself buying anymore… the damage is already done though.
