Commanders, we received a lot of feedback from you since the announcement of the Golden Chest, which we carefully read and discussed. Based on your feedback, we have made a number of changes.
First of all, we’ve significantly increased the chance of obtaining customization pieces by removing the Silver Chest from the list of possible drops. Plus, customization is now organized by nation, where every individual piece has the same chance of dropping. This leads to another improvement, where instead of just a single piece, you’ll now receive two separate pieces from the same nation, making it even easier to customize your soldiers!
Additionally, we’re also adding another highly requested customization feature. From now on, you can purchase the customization pieces that can be found in the chest directly if you already own their related event or premium squads. You no longer have to rely solely on luck anymore!
The Golden Chest “Arsenal of the Far East” is available in the in-game shop and just like the Silver Chest, it can be purchased until June 30th (13:00 UTC).
We hope that you will appreciate these changes and continue to share your opinions with us so we can make the game even better!
I would have assumed you’d spend more than a day to go over and consider the changes.
That is welcome.
I hope the people, such as myself, who have spent upwards of 40-or-more Euros can get the privilige of buying said cosmetics for cosmetic tokens…? Seems like a fair exchange, considering the pricetag of those squads.
If they suit that campaign, as with current customization, they will be there. And if we need to make changes to what is available for what campaign (like in some past updates), we can.
So, by removing the Silver Chest, you’ve effectively increased the chance of getting customization items from 27% to 49%. While this may be good news for players who enjoy cosmetics, it’s hardly a positive change for those who valued the extra opportunity to obtain equipment from the Silver Chest.
