Why is changing its other stats allowed?

What stats ? cant touch the rof because history, nor the mag because history ?
Even if you reduce the recoil to 0 what use can you make it with 10 rounds ?
So we’re left with dmg, grant it a ~15dmg and it can “compete” with SA rifles of BR3.

Actually last I check the 10 round mag wasn’t used by soldiers. So should we remove the gun from the game?

Could be a interesting alternative, if more information (and a picture) could be found on it. Though, current mag is decidedly the 10 round version, so it should be corrected to that, and new 20 round versions added isntead.

I wouldn’t say no to 10, 20, and the regular 30 round versions of German ARs.

Well, trying to change a weapon in game with “historical accuracy / realistic” argument while considering only mag, rof and what else as suitable attributes of said genre.

I’m all for changin the rest of the attributes as well. Muzzle velocity, damage, recoil, whether or not you can shoot it standing up.

Well visuals, rate of fire, and sounds are probably the most important attributes of a gun that need to be properly depicted in a video game to game the gun feel authentic.

Mag capacity however has this one magical number that everyone will remember in a game, it burns itself into our gamer memory.

Most people know that MP40 had a 32 round mag - while in reality many Soldiers loaded those guns only with 30 rounds or even less for increased reliability.

From a pure “historical accuracy” standpoint the MKB 15 debate makes no sense, yes those small mags had 10 round capacity - not 15, however those small mags were never used on the battlefield to begin with.

However from a realism standpoint the complaint is understandable - 15 round dont fit into a 10 round mag.
