The suggestion is still valid, majority voted Yes, but hasn’t been addressed by helpers or devs yet
The Forum no longer allows more than one post about the same subject. Thus Necroposts are required if the community is still interested in the subject after some amount of time

Meanwhile, the PPSh with a silencer simply exists
If the question of historicity still bothers you, you can simply leave it in the warehouse. Don’t decide for other players what to play, justifying your reluctance by creating topics about the non-existence of something there.
I’ll decide what topics to create without your input, have a good day
Guns should have accurate characteristics.
It’s just that simple, fake magazine sizes just don’t show up on other weapons, it shouldn’t show up here either.
By what metric have you decided that people who want fictional magazine sizes to be above the concerns of people who want accurate magazine sizes? Who are you to decide for those people?
We have a standard, lets not deviate from it. The magazine held only held 10 rounds, that’s the end of the discusion as far as that goes. What to do with the gun after it’s corrected is a follow-up matter.
My apologies if I’ve caused you any emotional distress. Of course , no one is going to take away your precious right to create topics.
have a good day
Thats true, but maybe they should revet that rule
I can see why it was implemented. It should stop the forum being clogged by repeated suggestion of the same things and gives one concentrated space for discussions for that topic, although those can often be derailed, instead of being spread throughout posts weeks or even months apart.
I understand, but the problem is that if a suggestion is badly worded or formated, a certain gun, feature or whatever will get barried. Which is rather sad.
I do wonder what will happen if I make a seperate suggestion about a single weapon that some other person (who I shan’t name) has included in one of their poorly formatted multiple mutually exclusive weapons suggestions…
It would need to be BR1… br2 smgs are even better than this… and then it would be a BR1 assault rifle…
The forum moderators should understand if you want to make an actual suggestion with effort instead of regurgitating wikipedia articles.
or, reach out to the creator to delete it.
Me when strawman
Gameplay/balance > realism. That’s why same caliber weapons do different dmg. Guns have altered rof. Tanks and planes have ahistorical armaments. There’s a battle rating system. Factions in places they never fought in. And there’s even fictional vehicles. Cuz this is an arcade ww2 shooter that wants a historical feeling not historical accuracy.
The only vaguely relevant thing you brought up is vehicle armaments, and even then that’s a case of “it wasn’t normally like that”, not that it couldn’t be.
You can’t fit 15 rounds in a 10 round mag.
What’s the argument here? The magazine HAS to be 15 rounds? Why? As you said yourself, different weapons shooting the same cartridge deal different ammounts of damage, there are other ways to balance a gun if it must be BR III for some reason.
But in no cases (apart from the Stinger, which should also be corrected) are the magazines not correct.
Rate of fire, muzzle velocity, and magazine size, three stats that are always corrected to historical values, when proven to be correct. Because this is a WW2 game, putting “arcade” in front does not diminish that.
Why does it need to be 15 rounds? It doesn’t.
Correct it, simple as.
First of all, this weapon is not my whim, but the decision of the developers of this game. No one asked anyone when this weapon was added to the game.
Now you are trying to object to me that as if I decided for you to play with this weapon or not to play, which is a distortion of the facts. This is the developers’ decision, I repeat.
In addition, realism does not equal balance.
If you want realism, there are other projects that are more realistic.
But God forbid, do not think that I am telling you how to act.
I remind you if you forgot or did not know.
There are many things in the game that have little to do with realism and historicality, but you were hindered by an assault rifle in the amount of 4 pieces that is not even in the technology tree, but was given as a gift in the event.
If you don’t want to see it, then damn it, just leave it in the warehouse and don’t pick it up.
I think other players will agree with me, who don’t want to see weapon characteristics changed in exchange for those players who are supposedly in favor of historicality.
Stop pretending like it’s normal for magazines to have incorrect sizes, or that it’s even nessesary in this case.
I simply returned your rhetoric, it goes both ways.
If you don’t like the game to portray WW2 weapons and equipment, I’d remind you in turn that this is a WW2 game, and that there are other projects out there that feature made up gear. This one does not include such things, even prototypes are portrayed (as best can be from limited real world data) as accurately as possible.
As for popularity… You’re welcome to re-check the poll again.
You wrote “prototypes,” but you likely meant “things that never existed and which were only on paper, or even in someone’s imagination.” Yes, I am referring to the famous Ho-Ri. The Tiger tank on the Pacific islands is also portrayed very realistically. A platoon of Chinese soldiers with PPSh submachine guns that never existed was also realistically portrayed in Berlin.
If you are appealing to the results of votes, hiding behind the remnants of democracy on this forum, then I will take the liberty to remind you: if you were to conduct a survey among alcoholics regarding whiskey, they would be surprisingly unanimous in its usefulness.
dunno, we got rifles that were so bad that even soviets stopped the production.
Yet its arguably one of the best weapons in the game.
So the “history” / “realistic” argument is quite meh, everyone seems to have quite a different view of it.
