Buff the FNAB-43 or drop it to BR1

The FNAB-43’s ROF IMOP is too slow to be effective in BR2, so either Buff it’s ROF, or drop it to BR1 where it would still be to slow, but a little more respectable. In BR1 it would be comparable to the M3 Grease gun in ROF, but would lack the hit power of the Grease gun.

If buffed, I would prefer a modest ROF increase, like setting the base at 600 and max at 690, which matches the PPS-42 and the M1A1 Thompson. I would not be in favor of buffing it’s max to the 837 that I’ve seen others request, but if that was the consensus I would be fine with it. However, either make it competitive for use in BR2 or drop it to BR1, it’s wasted where it’s at now.

Should the FNAB be left alone, or should changes finally be made? IMOP It’s time the Dev’s stop neglecting this SMG.

  • Leave as is and drop to BR1
  • Make no changes, leave in BR2
  • Buff the ROF to 600 base 690 max
  • Buff the ROF to max at 837

If the ROF goes to 690 then it should go to Br3 as an analogous to the Beretta M38A (40) which would be boring. I am fine with dropping it toBr1 as is , or have the Rof go to 840 rpm and be put in Br4 or maybe also Br3

Apparently, the current low RoF seems historical for when it was used in 1943.
The higher rate of fire recorded around 600-800 seems like due to the fact that they had used modern 9mm ammunition with high pressure for testing, at least the explaination of this discrepancy i could find on the internet says so.

So i think BR decrease would be a better solution.

Alternatively, could buff the damage to 7.2 without BR change so it would hits hard and accurate on BR 2 at least.
