I read about this machine gun over a year ago there were different rates of fire involved.
The base T23 and T23E1 (in “fast” mode): 725 rounds per minute. This offered balanced automatic fire, though it still placed a heavy strain on the weapon’s lightweight structure. The T23E2 (maximum rate): 800 rounds per minute. The 1944 modification featured a redesigned automatic mechanism and a more aggressive operating cycle. At this rate, the 100-round disintegrating-link belt was expended in just 7.5 seconds.
You can find a rate of fire of over 800 rounds per minute in the description.
The document presents the results of Test No. 6, the objective of which was to determine the cyclic rate of fire of the machine guns.
“Fast” mode: The rate of fire ranges from 683 to 859 rounds per minute.
Yea… 50/50 split is not how things get forwarded as far as ive seen, usually requires 70/30 or if its a bug itll get forwarded regardless… Unless it will negatively affects soviets, then it may take 1-3 years before it gets implemented even if everyone agrees.
