Well your opposed point of view is based on rather questionable “Historical accuracy” which you are requesting only when it does support your biased needs.
I dont recall you requesting nerf towards AVS in name of historical accuracy, quite contrary If I recall you were moaning a buff to it because 15 rounds vs 20 wasnt “fair”.
So its fair to come to conclusion you only care of historical accuracy if it benefits you ingame.
Thus, entirely irrelevant.

If you look real close you’ll notice that there are 2 other options that say yes that both include removal of body armor with combined % of 61
It’s just 35 percentage points out of this 61% want helmets not giving damage reduction on top of body armor not giving damage reduction - but it’s still painfully obvious that 61% want body armor gone

knee jerk reaction? ffs body armor has been in the game for 3-4 years and people have been complaining about it since they learned about damage reduction…
actually it is not. most popular is yes, but people are split between removing damage reduction completely from all cosmetics or just from body armor.

Okay, so you figured majority of community is against this kind of hidden buffs and most likely came to conclusion that they will be inevitably removed since theres absolutely 0 balance / gameplay related reason to keep them.
So to keep your hidden crutch your solution is to “grant” them for everyone.

I frankly do not care about historical sources as it is not an information accuracy problem, but a gameplay balance problem, and part of a larger developer bias problem.
