It’s a “book” by Rob Arndt with 85 sites
I think the convo below should explain why i almost never comment on weapon suggestions
I’ll admit that spitfire looks cool
I saw quite a few post of you where you wrote “forwarded”
looks nice - agree
but the game wouldn’t need it
they only captured tank I would love to see for Axis would be the Panzerkampfwagen KV-1B 756(r) (KV-1 with 7.5cm KwK 40)

Agreed, definitely want to see this tank get added in the game as a Event tank with a event squad tho.
Mate why on earth are you going on some random meltdown crying about captured weapons? I genuinely have no idea what triggered you into doing this, this is concerning.
Okay, so I’ve finally been able to find what you are referring to. It’s just some random PDF consisting of pictures of various guns, weapons, and other associated stuff, there is no source or anything. There is no provenance for either the pdf or the author. I would not consider this a reliable source. I mean just from a brief cursory look I see some questionable things in it.
- The PDF includes the infamous Nazi belt buckle guns. The historical authenticity of these are highly debated, with some people saying that they are legit while other people say that they’re probably postwar creations.
- The pictures listed as the “7.92mm Pzb SS-41” appears to show a different gun than the actual Pzb SS-41. Not only does the gun visually look very different, but it also displays a different method of reload from the actual SS-41.
- One of the pages has what appears to be a 1935 taboid newspaper snippet allegedly about some whacky ray gun design from a German designer which is ??? Not only that, but apparently the German designer had fled from his country in an attempt to sell the design to the French government so I’m not even completely sure you can reasonably put this thing into a list about German WW2 weapons.
- The list includes a 7.35mm Mauser C96 carbine. These were mainly civilian weapons and while it’s hypothetically possible some random German dude decided to bring one with them into war again I doubt it was ever issued militarily.
- And then of course we have the Walther shotgun. Like all the other entries, just a single photo and a title. No information or evidence that it ever saw service during WW2 or was even relevant in any way.
Remember this is just what immediately popped out to me from a quick skim.
In general, I have no objection to a few captured weapons. However, I consider it completely wrong to equip every nation with the exact same captured weapons.
There are posts suggesting that all nations—Axis and USSR alike—should be equipped with the Browning Auto-5; this is simply unnecessary. Not every nation needs to have the same weapons. The USSR, for instance, could receive the TOZ-9 instead.
I could live with this, provided it remains limited to a few isolated weapons.
At the same time, however, people are also demanding that the Mauser C96 be given to the Allies and the Japanese. The same applies to the PPSh. Images of American soldiers were posted (see below), and now people want the PPSh included in the tech trees for the Allies (USA/UK) as well.
What for?! It is absolutely unnecessary to insert every single weapon that was ever captured into a nation’s tech tree. Under these circumstances, you wouldn’t need a separate tech tree for each nation anymore, because all nations would have the same weapons. It makes absolutely no sense.

Seriously? Look, the PPSH-41 should only belong to the soviets. With the exception of Germany as it has the event MP-41r and one from the saboteur event. And mauser C96s I wouldn’t want either, but we should probably remodel Germany’s one so they don’t look exactly like the Soviets Bolo version.
Then perhaps you would be interested in this suggestion for Germany to finally get one?
A alternative Thompson for br 3 Germany: The 1921 Thompson with 30 round mag
Yes, unfortunately. It would no longer make the Tech Tree “unique.”
I am fully aware that Japanese officers, in particular, were fond of using the Luger and Mauser C96 due to their status within the Imperial Japanese Army. But are they really necessary in the Tech Tree?
I already voted days ago.
It doesn’t seem like it, there’s photo of Allies soldiers with lugers and P38 pistols, and yet they don’t have it, nor should.
Thank you, just trying to get as much support as I can so Germany (and me) can have a unique Thompson at br 3.
In a different post BR3 nade launcher for japan… and now a BR…2? grenade launcher for germany? What are you on… lost in translation? Although sure i think they could use a BP handheld mortar like BP Italian RMN 50 - Lanciabombe 60 (BR3)
However back to the topic at hand… i do think a semi auto shotgun would be a nice addition… only soviets left to receive theirs.
What kind of nonsense are you writing? I’m talking about an anti-tank grenade launcher, not a hand mortar.
grenade launchers are BR3. Unless you are talking about an AT weapon.
I’m talking about anti-tank grenade launchers, like the bazooka, GRB-39, and so on.
In which case i digress
I get having objections towards implementing captured weapons but I don’t see why you were directing this anger towards me. At no point in any of the posts here did I suggest that we should implement them.
Sounded like you are one of them who agree with it.
Apologies from my side - wasn’t the finest manner of me
Maybe Faustpatrone 30 could be for BR II - has a limited range of 30m if I am not mistaken but could penetrate up to 140mm. So the higher penetration would be balanced by the limited range ingame
