After the recent topic on the " Independent Sub-Faction Tech Tree - Suggestions / Other - Enlisted — official forum" forum, I had an interesting idea about how to revive interest in the game, while taking into account the interests of all groups of players, both fans of historical accuracy in the game and fans of just a shooter. I propose to add a Finnish sub-faction.
What maps will be available to the Finnish sub-faction in the game “Enlisteed”? Maps of Moscow, Stalingrad, and Rzhev
What maps will be available? 1 ruble, 2 rubles, and 3 rubles
Will the Finnish faction be available immediately? No
How do I unlock the Finnish sub-faction in Enlist? To unlock the Finnish sub-faction, you need to fully level up by 5 units in Germany (27/7 as part of BR).
Here is an approximate view of the progression tree (there is more to add, but I have included the essentials)
This unit was sold in the Stalingrad campaign in the game “Enlisted”. As for the history, I recommend that you study it in more detail, as I don’t like to talk about such things, although I can
Additional information that I forgot to mention earlier in this sentence. In the game “Enlisted”, the German and Finnish (sub-factions) (Both factions will play on the same team) can be in the same battle, but only on certain maps that have been mentioned above.
This is the highlight of subfractions. They can have some of their weapons, and some of the ones copied earlier, which will give players a new experience, a new gaming experience, as well as solve many problems. Besides, without such an addition, the idea of a subfraction cannot be realized. In addition, if the player does not want to pump the same weapons, he can safely stay on the main faction without touching the sub-faction. So I don’t see any problems.
You can read it, I assume this site can be trusted (I apologize in advance for the link to the Russian-language site on the English Enlisted game forum)
What is this doing here? There are no records of BAR being used by Finland. It should be replaced with the DP-27 as it was extremely common and well liked by Finnish troops
Also you should add some Finnish mosins instead of Kar 98ks and Carcanos. Kar 98ks saw no widespread use and Carcanos were used exclusively by Anti aircraft crews. You should at least add M27, M28, M28-30 and M39 mosin.
I would also replace Fn m1930 and Madsen with Swedish KG M21 lmg
For planes i would also add Brewster Buffalo, Morane Saulnier, Bf 109 and Hawker Hurricane maybe as premium
Along with SVT we should get Lahti-l36
For smgs Suomi-Korsu with stick mag would be interesting
Anyways i voted no since new factions/subfactions take lot of effort and we still haven’t even gotten proper British or Italian subfactions. We should prioritize fixing existing content before adding anything new
That is not a Finnish division. Those are german Jägers that are just using Finnish guns. Just like Orita m1941 squad that is not actually Romanian. Finnish troops never fought in Stalingrad, Rzhev or Moscow. You must be confusing these battles with siege of Leningrad where Finnish forces were present
Where was this mentioned? The wiki only said that Finnish soldier prefered AVS-36 with 15 round mag but nothing about Lahti l36 with 15 rounds. Also i agree that 5 round lahti would fit br 2 the best while svt-38 can stay in br 3
I think that the main issue here is that nearly 70% of the proposed tech tree is copy paste from other factions.
If we are realistic here, which we should be. Than Finland can only be a subfaction at best.
Finland even as a subfaction would take a lot of work.
First we would need at least one campaign in which Finnish soldiers historically fought in, than the voice lines and customization, all these are expensive and time consuming.
Meanwhile there are existing subfaction like France and potential subfactions that already have a campaign like Hungary or Siam should take priority.
These subfactions should get priority since they would also justify adding more weapons and vehicles to the game.
So ultimately, no matter how cool Finland would be, its just not a priority right now.
very legit site.
I especiatly like how finnish civil war is sort of highlighted on that part that there indeed was “white” civils fighting in karelia aka russia.
But conveniently the reason for such, the bolsheviks part in finnish civil war, arming the reds, bolshevik soldiers taking part in civil war is entirely forgotten.
But it seems like a legit mistake that it was conveniently forgotten.
