- Yes, it’s very necessary.
- No, I have no interests about it.
- Yes, that will help a lot when grinding new tech trees.
- No, I think ok enough for now.
Hello comrades! Today I will bring you with a suggestion that could make Enlisted more interesting and fun! It could help extend our battlefield very well!
This suggestion is in progress, and would improve contents any time!
Independent Sub-Faction Tech Tree
As far as we know, there’s four factions in game already, they are Axis, Allies, USSR, and Japan. These four factions are corresponding to different campaigns in game. There were more than four factions involved in WWII, as Enlisted presenting to us, it would include more and more contents from the 4 factions.
With the increasing of weapon and squad amounts, the original tech tree is a bit compact. To introduce new factions which actively participated in WWII but not with full ranks armament, it’s necessary to introduce Sub-Faction instead of inserting it into existed faction, to avoid breaking now design of main factions tech tree.
The aim of Independent Sub-Faction Tech Tree
- To make main faction tech tree more space for original armaments.
- To introduce more active WWII participators, and extend arsenal of Enlisted.
- To make gameplay and combat more immersive and historical.
Independent Sub-Faction tech tree
Attention! That doesn’t mean the priority of such sub-factions would be released.
I will take China as example. After concluded all resource and documents, we found Chinese tech tree (WWII period) have no completed arsenal set into V ranks (With no heavy armored vehicles and modern aircrafts, also lack of full-auto rifles that could shot full-power cartridges).
China was one of the most important participators during WWII, and she actually contributed a lot towards the situation of far-east campaign, with various armaments that could cover I-IV ranks battle in our game. It’s not necessary to make all trees have V ranks.
Matchmaking
I will take China as example again. We actually have five Chinese squads (Liu rifle, Thompson 7.63, Sichuan SMG, Sichuan Thompson, PPSh-41(S)) in game already.
When it comes to matchmaking, it could join battle with main faction USSR into Manchuria campaigns, with main faction Allies into Burma campaigns.
Due to now existed squads was directly inserted in USSR and Allies tech tree, they could involve in battles as the main factions do: Hearing war cry in Chinese in Normandy or Moscow/Berlin, will cut players’ immersivity a lot.
Existed contents
- Researchable contents, like Type 88 bolt rifle, will hide from USSR tech tree, purchased one would be remained. (As Soviet Thompson did)
- Premium/event squads, would be moved to new tech tree directly.
Lend-lease mechanics (optional)
There could also be a optional mechanics to make players grind new tech tree and build squads faster. We have already have similar function “Weapon transfer” when Enlisted was in Campaign mode.
You are able to transfer weapons that duplicated (or you call it copy-pasted whatever) in new tech trees. For example, you can “Land-lease” M2 flamethrower to Chinese squad, or some basic rifles used by and existed in new tech trees.
