I’m expanding this old thread of mine to vote for individual weapons to be added. Considering the lack of BR 4 rifles for some factions, the relative strength of BR 4 tech tree rifles compared to some event rifles of the same battle rating, and the power jump from BR 4 to BR 5, I believe that 20 round magazine semi-automatics would make for a great addition for all factions at BR 4.
For this goal, I would like to suggest the SVT-40 20 for BR 4 for the USSR faction. As we are all aware, the SVT-40 and AVT-40 are almost identical weapons with compatible magazines. The SVT-40 15 was also just recently added as an event weapon, which confirms this statement further.
This weapon would be as simple as taking the SVT-40 model, and adding the 20 round magazine from the AVT-40 20.
I understand some people do not like weapon copypasta. There are other 20 round rifle options for the Soviet Union, but not any that saw service like the SVT-40.
Would you like to see the SVT-40 20 added to the USSR tech tree?
I would vote yes, but I dont want to powercreep BR4 with 20 round tech tree rifles.
IMO SF rifles need their long overdue nerf and 20 round tech tree rifles should be added as alternatives to them on BR5.
I figure 20 round semi-autos could exist in both BR 4 and BR 5, but BR 4 needs them more. Not to mention, BR 4 rifles getting 20 round semi-automatics with 15.3 damage would in no way be enough of a buff to be considered “power creep”, since the SMGs and MGs are still a more universally viable option.
