If new players feel as if they can’t fight back against veterans with higher level gear then just lower the grind so new players can unlock the higher level gear faster.

Yeah, make a solution like that or similar. Don’t punish people just for having unlucked better gear or for having played longer, or ruin the fun of playing.

this change only really benefits tankers more specifically jumbos, tiger 1, IS-2, KV-1 and Tiger 2 with most will just camp behind the team in the grayzone though times where tankers will front line and never die like in this screenshot where i died in this match at the very end, they had about 100 tickets left, with a sinlge KV-1…

and honestly the matches where both sides had massive amount of squad loses tend to be more fun compared to the matches were you just blitz down the enemy team, it also doesn’t help your cause that attackers NEED to cap a point within 25 minutes or else it’s a defeat

OP, go play War Thunder for a while, and then tell us how fair and fun it is to pay a cost for being killed.

he still doesnt understand that defenders have unlimited tickets for reinforcement, so he thinks that he can “soften” enemy by sniping for 5-10 minutes.

op says i already played wt before, its the reason i play enlisted now

Wait why the fuck would people who have already reached that high or maxed the campaign give a shit about exp reduction?? They dont even need exp!

Horrible ideas all over this forum recently

Technically there is no full level yet as i belive they are planning on something like 50 levels per campaign. I may be totally wrong though so please correct me if i am.

40 is the confirmed limit though it’s possible because for it to be extended to 50 because money

40 was what I have heard. Either way the guys with the guns designed to storm a point get penalized for doing so??

Ah gotcha, thanks for confirming.

No. This rewards snipers and greyzone tank camping, and punishes slogging it out as attackers.

(No it doesn’t, and I didn’t read every single post, but whatever.)

Me too, and guess what, after a way too long toxic relationship with WT, once I tried Enlisted I promptly jumped the fence and quit WT almost entirely specifically because, among other things, I was SICK of the repair costs bullsh*t and all the other expedients making economy miserable even for premium players.

So:

Wanna add an extra reward for people who manage to stay alive longer? ARGUABLE (others have already listed counterarguments), but fine.

Wanna add a penalty for dying, in a game where soldiers’ average life expectancy is measurable in seconds and very little is under player’s control? F*CK NO.

Or (unnecessarily offensive remark ahead):

Summary

Wanna give a penalty to the players whom you snipe from map borders with your AI squad well hidden in a basement or attic, while those guys try to actually cap the points, and even get extra rewards for that? F*ck YOU, if so.

Peanalization for death would put a multitude of nails in the coffin for this game.

The grind is immeasurable in how hard it can be for a F2P player. The training on this game is very limited, the maps are way to small, there can be players cycling Radios, Tanks, snipers that can make it a litteral sitzkreig if death is heavily penalized.

Right now, with mechanics , population split 10 ways, we cannot make any fundamental changes that will damage the integrity of the game.

It needs to evolve and grow first before we can start changing the core. With at first, bigger maps and secondly, modes that don’t force you into a small circle on some arbitrary map.

If you know your going to lose xp for trying to take a point , are you still going to try. Taking something away from players just sucks.

We need some love and care for this game, but this is not it.

All the devs have to do to decrease the grind is implement a progression that applies to both sides of a campaign, I.E if you make it to level 5 as Tunisia Allies you also make it to level 5 as Tunisia Axis.

This cuts the grind for an entire campaign in half, and would encourage people to not only play as both sides of a campaign, but play other campains as well since it won’t take them 10 million aeons to grind a campaign they have never touched.
