i edited the post just to clear confusion, and make more sense
nah… that wouldnt help much… it would be better if they unify playerbase with fronts, so you have eastern and western front (and later pacific). and then MM with weapons to get desired campaign (so if you select weapon made in 44, you wouldnt be able to play tunis or moscow.
but DF will never do that cause they would kill grinding progression of the game and one of the reasons why people take premium account.
the vehicle spawn point could be used in maps that are crowded, like city maps. also finding the vehicle spawn point would be way more challenging considering it doesnt give off sound unlike the rally point (static and beeping)
i mean both of our ideas have downsides, but at the end of the day they’ll still be more narrowed down rather than the current system. the year based playerbase would benefit more because based off of that, you could unlock weapons more consistently, but the front based playerbase could restrict where certain weapons were used, so you dont wind up seeing a captured eastern front weapon ending up all the way down at the south, in tunisia
and that is relevant how? one is eastern front, one is western front. you dont see captured eastern front weapons in tunisia now…
well, so far we’ve gotten stupid things such as zh29, which is eastern front weapon, in tunisia. i doubt it was ever brought into tunisia, germans themselves didnt wanna touch that thing let alone bring it somewhere else
I seriously hope this is a bad joke, the last thing we need is to deduct/decrease the amount of XP we get in an already grindy game. And why should we not be able to enjoy using the weapons we unlock later on just because they may be a bit OP or other players just suck at countering them???
Oh boy just wait until they give the Japanese the ZH29 since the Chinese bought a few and the devs can say it’s a captured weapon.
for japanese/chinese its understandable, they imported alot of weapons from germany, and other countries
well historical accuracy went down the window long time ago. it is enough to suspect that working prototype was developed in similar time for devs to put that weapon into some campaign. at least we know that german army had zh-29.
the reward for not dying is double, also because of tryhards and spammers the beginners cannot enjoy the game, and end up having their experience ruined, so i say just punish the players with high level for dying, it would make tryhards play more tactical instead of just bashing their heads endlessly till they get what they want
Why should you punish high level players just because they are a high level? Should they just sit and grey zone camp instead? Or what if they happen to end up in a unbalanced match and get steamrolled? doesn’t make sense to add it.
i get that, after all it was quite a hit to the historical accuracy when they added the stg45m, which wasnt used during ww2.
dont worry, ak-47 incoming soon…
oh no lol
Implement the XP deduction and people will just argue that it promotes camping since players will want to stay alive as long as possible
they should play more tactical, and try to remain alive, and not just go full suicidal. since the deduction is disagreeable, then the xp increasement for not dying too many times could remain, i mean even that is hard to do
if you want to play tactical go play HLL…
the AS-44 is already added to berlin my guy. and that thing is basically AK47, but sudayev’s version
well i wouldnt promote camping, but i also wouldnt want to waste tickets either, and see enemies flooding in with you not being able to do anything about it as a beginner
