could we get a XP deduction for various amount of time between each death, and some sort of xp reward for actually trying to stay alive?
this would encourage players to stay alive, and not bash their heads against the wall until they get what they want, because right now that’s all that is being done
for example: (this applies ONLY for players that use squads with OP weapons, namely AVT,AVS, FG42, PPSH41 and so on)
squad died in 1 minute: 500 XP deduction
squad died in 2 minutes: 400 XP deduction
squad died in 3 minutes: 300 XP deduction
squad died in 4 minutes: 200 XP deduction
squad died in 5 minutes: 100 XP deduction
squad died in 6 minutes and more: no XP deduction
the player could get rewarded for not dying too many times aswell:
died 0 times: 1000 XP reward
died 1 time: 800 XP reward
died 2 times: 600 XP reward
died 3 times: 400 XP reward
died 4 times: 200 XP reward
died 5 times and more: no XP reward
no, i can manage to survive for 5 minutes at most without dying,
you pick off most the enemies at medium/long range, then move when there’s a chance, you dont rush past enemies, then proceed to shoot, only to get completely shredded, and wasting your team’s tickets for no reason like a complete idiot
no its not selfish, its perfectly reasonable, i could’ve set a far worse xp deduction for all you know, but at the end of the day you still get a reward for staying alive, also the reward is twice as large as the xp deduction, so its fair
Is selfish and make desertion more worse because in a battle were you keep die for explosive spammer, bomb, tank ecc… you not only have to support this but even a XP reduction for your death, yea is selfish and make the grind 100 time worse
Good intentions but bad idea, maybe just give a bonus for staying alive, kinda don’t wanna reduce people’s XP because a bombing run wipes out my squad.
those issues in the game i’ve suggested to be changed, so the tanks cant greyzone but you said about that, that it cant be changed, and the explosive pack isnt nearly as strong as before, i’ve chucked the explosive pack into a house full of enemies, it barely killed 1 person, you’d just rely on grenades and impact grenades, which of course cant be nerfed
if you can, find a better way to encourage people not to die as often, or prevent tryhards from bashing their heads into the wall till they get what they want

This is a horrible idea considering the amount of explosives spam that you can be exposed to during matches. You can literally be squad wiped like 6 times in a row without even being able to fire your weapon just because cap is outside and the enemy team is constantly rotating artillery and planes, combined with mortars and tanks in good positions to unload HE.
nope. i still do manage to push for the cap, its just that you have to be consistent about it, watch out for idiots who climb inside the interior and camp, and so forth. what i typically do is i soften the enemies at medium distance before closing in, softening the enemy’s defences at long range wont do shit, because by the time you get to the cap, they’ll be easily reinforced
