XP deduction suggestion

something crossed my mind, how about that the XP deduction applies ONLY for higher levels, if you use squads equipped with specific weapons, such as the most overused weapons, namely PPSH41, FG42, FG42 II, AVT-40, and other

so 5-6 minutes you are doing nothing, sniping in the back and when finally your team manages to clear out enemy and soften it, you come in and take the credit? if you want to soften the target you do it with grenades. use smoke to approach and then you use explosives to clear the obstacles and enemies.

btw if everyone was like you and camped for 5 minutes defenders would be extra happy. imagine all the stuff they could build inside the cap.

no my man, the way i soften them up is i also arty the point while standing exactly outside the red circle, risky tactic, but it works, the remaining enemy typically doesnt stand much of a chance, except if they were in interior

I’ve actually went a whole match without losing my first squad and was in first place while playing the objective, stop acting like dying means you play the objective.

While yes death may be necessary, but don’t excuse it as good gameplay.

Idk, the grind is already hellish enough, I’d prefer it not to be made worse by implementing things that reduce XP.

did that few times with good team against passive enemy that was too scared to push into cap. and while dying doesnt mean that you play objective, it more often does than doesnt.

well if you can manage to kill everyone and not die i can accept that also. but i would rather have bad player going for objective and dying 20 times, than ā€œgoodā€ player staying behind, sniping and not dying once.

well think about it, literally everyone would want to just spam the best weapons and using the best weapons is easy, and both sides complain about each other’s best weapons (allies complain about fg42, and axis complain about ppsh and avt and m2), so why shouldn’t we add a bit of a xp deduction for each death whilst using the higher level weapons in order to make the use of them much more challenging

If you want people to spam less OP weapons I’d much rather a restriction on how many you can carry per squad be implemented than an XP reduction.

i dont see much competition in running inside of a building and holding the left button while moving the mouse all over the place.

Exactly so take your competitive idea out of here, last thing we need is people deserting because they have lost 3 squad in sequence because of a tank,plane,explosive and other shit

that will simply not work, maybe for axis considering the fg42 was rare, also maybe for AVT and AVS since their production was brief, also maybe for m2 carbine since it was produced at the very end, but for ppsh41? no, historically many squads had alot of ppsh41’s, some were even completely equipped with them

do you even read? he said to limit number of weapons per squad and you are citing number of produced weapons in ww2.

they will still leave if theres a guy spamming the higher level weapons, they will lose more than 3 squads

well if you limit the number of weapons, everyone will complain ā€˜ā€˜where’s the historical accuracy’’
