Why they havent removed bots already?

The only thing that bothers me is completely unsymmetrical number of real players in teams, I really don’t enjoy 2 vs 6 matches.

I really don’t mind current state of AI. Plus It most likely gets improve anyway. And if not, as I said, I don’t mind.

I dont think anyone asks seriously to boost AI to terminator.
More likely theyr situational reactions which are pretty much absolutely fking stupid.

Leave bots to room → do your thing → watch kill feed how your bots were beaten to death by soft foam sword and not a single bot gave a single fk in process.

Obviously they dont need to do 360 backflip noscope headshot in this situation, but atleast do something at situation when 4 of your “friend AI” is already beaten to death with foam sword instead of minding theyr own business thinking maybe the guy will spare them.

  • Artillery / bombing / what ever

Proceed to prone → Watch your bots to face theyr demise with ultimate bravery standing in highest possible peak where they possibly can die.

  • Forget to put your bots in kindergarden

Build MG → Proceed to do your thing → Friendly AI comes infront of you to show hes new cool moustaches and block every single bullet in process.

  • Go little too far from your kiddies

51m → wait for us mommy → run thru artillery & infront of 2 tanks.

  • Maps

Berlin bridge something comes first in my mind → spawn → run underbridge to get better position instead of open bridge → AI decides he aint some bridge troll and proceeds to run at set rally point straight thru bridge like a boss → All dead.

Then again, probably not even a fraction of these issues gets fixed anytime soon so bandage fix of improving theyr accuracy / reaction could indeed be a solution of somekind.

Group A: AI sucks, it can’t even kill the enemy in the open, doesn’t use cover and has terrible pathfinding

A little gem was a goty multiplayer 2011

Enlisted is a unique game on the market because it is the only one that shows the massiveness of World War II battles. The second thing is there are no self-proclaimed generals running around here. As in war, teams, platoons, companies fight with each other.
If you don’t like it, no one is keeping you here. Go back to your hero shooters like BF and CoD.

For the 2011 standard, now there are clone of it everywhere

it’s more about games like BF or CoD where the player is like a super hero who saves the world alone and his companions are just an addition.

Hero shooters are a variation of multiplayer first- or third-person shooters , where players form into two or more teams and select from pre-designed "hero " characters that each possess distinctive attributes, skills, weapons, and other passive and active abilities.

TF2 is a hero shooter, enlisted is a battlefield ripoff

If someone can’t give orders to bots, they complain about how hopeless they are. But if you can use the “X” and “V” keys on consoles differently. It turns out that bots are quite effective. You can use the “K” KEY to issue orders one by one, scatter them, you can send one across the street and use it as scout fire. You look from where and what is sizzled at him and you react.

This could be interesting in a slower game with a different spawn system, but I feel Enlisted is too fast-paced for that, especially when attacking you have to keep up the pressure and there’s just not much time for such finesse.

Time is a relative term.
You players are making the game too fast. Only forward without thinking, no tactics.
They leave when they see that at least one person in their team has a silver rank.
They fly forward like such lemmings.
And sometimes you need to quickly figure out how to slow down the enemy’s attack or score as many points as possible despite defeat. Despite the defeat, have more points than the best of the winning team.
Because what’s the point of winning if you’re still worse than the loser?

The behavior of the players is mostly determined by the meta. With the spawn system being what it is, and the reward system being what it is, players are incentivized to play aggressively. At least when the objective calls for attack.

Problem is that I can spend 10s to command my bots so they get 4 kills and die or I can spend 10s running and gunning and get those 4 kills (if not more) myself while my AI is hidden.

It’s simply not good enough to be a valid alternative to “classic” gameplay.
