Why is the armor of german tanks buffed

Once you nerf German armor there will be zero reason to play as them. PPSh-41 drum should have loading disruptions since their magazines would not fit into the gun a lot of the times and AS-44/Fedorov shouldn’t even exist in the TT.

The FG-42 (German Fallschirmjägergewehr 42, “paratrooper rifle 42” should only be used by paratroopers :tipping_hand_man:

the title hints

Because taking the quality difference into account is quite bizarre. The quality of steel for Panthers made in '43 is very different from the '45. Are you planning to address it as well?

And should the high tier German soldiers have far inferior stats, since by the end of the war the German military force was already made of only exhausted soldiers, old men and teenagers?

No, Enlisted is a game. Not some pseudo simulation. I find it utterly bizarre to address the difference in steel quality in a game that has vehicles like the Ho-Ri or T-34/100.

Tank characteristics in Enlisted Based on real data from technical manuals and descriptions from War Thunder

Then please explain to me why the IS-2 tank has a real reload speed / speed / speed of turret rotation / armor penetration and nerfed HE shell

Yeah, based on. Not 1:1 replica.

btw, the only difference it makes is 1.2 less point of damage per fragment and 5m less radius, while it got a buff in terms of fragment amount (from 980 to 1016)

In short, it makes zero difference because there is no situation in which +5m radius would matter (especially for a shell that already has 20m radius)

Gameplay and balance reasons… I also find it weird going so much into detail of how armor performs, when Enlisted/War Thunder doesn’t even simulate armor plates cracking/ connections weakening after multiple hits.

Enlisted presents every thing at it’s “peak” performence so I don’t see why we should take into account the armor quality.
(Plus there is a game balance to take into account)

Early Soviet tanks had crappy armor quality - late German tanks had crappy armor quality, this is no secret however since we dont actually have quality modifiers this discussion is pointless.

German armor is not buffed - rather a core mechanic is missing.

yes, I also think it’s very strange that the bolted-on screens/additional armor of German tanks don’t come off like artellery fire, heat, HE or bazooka heat rocket
This is not welding, but ordinary bolts

I don’t know all the details

It looks very strange when HE shell OF-471 the D-25T gun, which in my opinion can smash a house to pieces or leave a crater in the ground, leaves a white cross on the infantry without causing damage.

You won’t be spreading false information, but you will provide evidence?

also t34s armour should shatter from even the smallest impacts. Their armor quality was horrible during the war

That’s a bug with the shell hit’s registration that can happen to all shells in the game

A very consistent bug too which is bad when I use IS 2

possible, but this is especially striking when
1 KT reload 7-8 sec JS-2 15-20
2 TNT cutted not found in German shells

what does this mean, bias towards German tank?

@Euthymia07
please tell me maybe you have data on the formation of a cumulative jet and fragments Panzerfaust 100 and Ofenror?

I get the feeling that they do too much damage

I like how OP just went full anti german bias mode. Completely derailing his own topic.

Hehe was it the IS 2 that had to fully depress its gun to be capable of reloading?

poor steel, and bad heat treatment being implemented is gonna hurt a few nations more
Or the same as germany :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to re add weapon malfunctions?
