Why is the armor of german tanks buffed

@Euthymia07
please tell me maybe you have data on the formation of a cumulative jet and fragments Panzerfaust 100 and Ofenror?

I get the feeling that they do too much damage

topic of my research and information collection

I like how OP just went full anti german bias mode. Completely derailing his own topic.

Hehe was it the IS 2 that had to fully depress its gun to be capable of reloading?

poor steel, and bad heat treatment being implemented is gonna hurt a few nations more
Or the same as germany :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to re add weapon malfunctions?

Reading this topic, I can see around 50% of it is completely wrong, the poster doesn’t understand how damage of a shell is calculated at all.
It’s based on the explosiveMass of the shell and ignores all other values besides the explosiveType

For example these values are about the fragmentation when the shell penetrates a tank, it’s completely unrelated to the fragments of the shell against infantry.
In general i would recommend having a deep understanding of how code works first before making these kinds of topic

Wouldnt really count on these early war weldings either.

I have argued with too many Stalinium fans in the past, I have no energy left for these kind of discussions.

I usually like to provide logical evidence of my claims, like showing how Elefant tank destroyers got taken out by 7.5 cm Shermans, simply because of poor armor quality, how T34 driver hatch was actually a massive weakspot and the Finns actually got trained to aim for it - which is the main reason why T34 85 has a stronger hatch, while ALSO super early T34s literally got penned by 3.7cm Panzer III guns, because of terrible armor quality… but too many Soviet main tankers refuse to accept logic. They just think Soviet armor is unmatched.

Which is a big problem the game has - explosive filler is too important, while solid AP deals too little post pen damage. This is pretty unrealistic, it makes infantry support guns better at taking out tanks than actual high velocity AT guns.

Oh yes Stalininium
What struck me most was the simply amazing precision of the armor thickness. Just like in the drawings - millimeter by millimeter

You claim something, you want to prove something, then why don’t you just back up your words - proof’s
Sorses/reports/test results or etc

precision caps :ok_hand:

Not sure what you are proving here, that soviets also had molding casts ?
Insane.

Please explain about the balance

For example, in the US branch there is an M26 that is supposed to target the narrow part of the turret, should make 2-3 or more shots. at the time when king tiger/tiger make ohe shot. There are M4s that do not penetrate King Tiger at all and have difficulty penetrating Tiger 1 / Panther

So you like this balance?

You see tanks destroyed with 1 hit?

Germany had access to 4 of the 5 finest steel mills of the world during the second world war.
These source are either straight up propaganda or just use tanks from the final months of the war which were produced with constantly lowering standards due to allied bombing.

Also I find it super ironic that you kept quiet about the abysmal armour quality of the T-34. Classic main mentality.

I hope you don’t compare it with the soviet production culture. They could barely even assemble a outdated plane they bought the rights to from the US.

just find Krupp Stell, and another frauds and procedures for carrying out finished products / how to offer tests armor / penetration etc. :tipping_hand_man:
