What do you think about? (1)

hello, this is the first of a series (perhaps) of topics focusing on your opinions on an element of the game …

the element of today is the browning 1919A6 one of the latest added weapons that has just come out has defeated the laws of physics and common sense…

you can choose between 5 answers and from that choice you will have to build your opinion, give free rein to the little woody in you …

  1. the weapon is ok
  2. it requires some changes
  3. I don’t have it yet, but I have seen/used it and I want to give my opinion
  4. it must be nerfed is an assault rifle the Germans have nothing like that, wy our mg42 doesn’t hit anything after 20m and the American one snaps you from more than 200m without bipods, all our guns are powerless NERF ALLAIES GERMAN SUFFER
  5. it must be buffed, the germans have fg42, tiger, panther and we have nothing, we can do nothing 100 shots are few we need more and the reload is too slow a second is enough, and the ammunition must be armor-piercing so we can fight the TIGER, GERMAN OP NERF

FREE RANT

This looks perfect in my eyes. I think Germany should get MG 42 (500 Round) and E-100 tank.

But on serious throughs about a gun:

seriousness is not required

I have it and I must say…it needs to be nerfed. Im actually 100% ok with its prone ability to level waves of enemies BUT its the shooting and moving portion that is nuts. Its the most stable MG in game and with 100 rounds it reloads incredibly fast

So I pick option 2

Before any nerfs wait for LMG Stamina play to be rolled out to other campaigns…

Well considering I have more play time in Normandy axis than in allies I am required by law to pick 4. On a serious note I have seen the mg34PT and the M4a1 76mm before seeing the 1919 lol

I don’t know yet how it performs. But I’d like to see some changes to it anyway.

It performs like a slower firing, more accurate, much more controllable MG34 with 100 rounds

Ok well I don’t use mg34s in Normandy, Breda all the way, though in Berlin I use it as an assault rifle

havent tried or seen it yet. but people are saying its really good

so i propose a trade deal

allies get m1919a6 with bayonet
and i get my unnerfed mp 43 back

It’s heroes and generals lazer recoil less 1919 at it’s finest, but with a proper sight.

Doesnt seem fair since it was the Russians that they nerfed the MP43 for and not the Americans.

I am more annoyed that the m2 carbine has similar recoil to the federov

I just find so disgusting having a pre nerfed mp43 while having an overpowered Fedorov that I just stoped playing Berlin completely. Only using fg42II gets old fast, so is stomping with Soviets exellent mixed arms.

alright lets be real here

the soviets absolutely did not need the mp 43 to be nerfed to have a fair fight. even just ppsh v unnerfed mp 43 would have been balanced imo

it was the gringos that were actually getting buttfucked by it

Absolutely right but never saw much of US players saying the MP43 was OP. The literal day it hits Berlin BOOM nerfed as they add the Fedorov and still have the PPSH. Crazy

I have been using the mp43 on Normandy and it’s still a really damn good gun even with that nerf so likely could be the same for Berlin too

It’s a good weapon, it doesn’t have as much recoil, its cadence is acceptable, plus those 100 bullets are the best, you wipe out entire squads.

No, it’s not that. The stg family weapons are perhaps the most iconic weaponry axis faction has, and was awaited for like forever in Berlin. As SOON as we FINALLY get it, they bomb it… But if that wasn’t enough, THEY GIVE SOVIETS AN OVERPOWERED ASSAULT RIFLE puting the iconic stg to shame. And Soviets didn’t need it at all.

It’s simply insulting. To compare, it’s how you feel about how they mistreated the m1 carbine.

there was quite a few US players saying the mp 43 was op. the whole nerrative shifted from fg 42 op, to fg 42 and mp 43 op. to be fair it might just be me, but it seems like its mentioned in almost every single normandy balance thread
