Uptier Uragan SMG and Fedorov 1912 (or remove them completely))

Why, if it shoots half as fast as the PPS-43 and Uragan, shouldn’t it hit twice as hard?. Obviously 10 is not twice as hard and that was just an analogy, however, if it’s going to shoot half as fast as the enemies smg it needs more then just a slight increase to the hitting power. Better yet, DF should just buff the FNAB it to where it should be between 600-800, leave the hitting power where it currently is, then we can all hold hands sitting around a camp fire singing Kumbaya and have a semblance of universal smg harmony in BR2.

He also was firing in long bursts. He didn’t dump all of the ammo in one go

wiki with its source shows 540rpm and some other sources show 650rpm.

to get to 900rpm he would need to clear the mag in ~2 seconds with full auto fire. also idk mag size cause there is 24 and 32 magazine for the mp35.

Yeah but what I’m trying to point out is he’s firing around 5-8 rounds every burst(in the second clip he fired just 2 single shots in the beginning), and then take half a second or so to fire another burst. In both clips, he did that. Now if he dumped all 32 rounds without without letting go of the trigger and it took him that long then it’d make sense.

he takes fraction of a second before shooting again. overall full auto shooting is ~4 seconds and all those pauses dont take more than a second together, which would make it at best ~650rpm gun.

like i said before give me source for those claims, or at least someone who is shooting full 32 mag in full auto without pauses in 2 seconds.

A lot of historical sources doesn’t seem very reliable when it comes to RoF of guns. See FNAB-43, Type 99 LMG, Type 100 Early, etc.

even bergmann manual claims 700-800rpm for mp32.

checked video and without editing software i cant estimate time. he started shooting at 4:09 and ending at 4:11 few frames before it switched to 4:12, so i cant say if it is 2 seconds or 2.5 seconds.

depends on the source, who tested it and on what conditions. manufacturer may claim one ROF cause of ideal conditions with lighter recoil spring and certain ammo. army might want to get heavier recoil spring to increase reliability and reduce wasting ammo. also it depends if it was made prewar or during war conditions where quality might suffer a little.

this has been the case with mg42 where manual shows 1500rpm, but any captured mg42 tested ~1200rpm or 900rpm with heavy bolt. according to one source 1500rpm was possible with certain kind of ammo.

also mp35 has different designations depending on factory that made it there is possibility of different performance depending on who made it.

This would be the rpm to buff the mp35 to then. Perhaps keep it at 730-740ish when not upgraded yet and then with it being upgraded being around 852.

Set video playback speed to x0.25 and run a stopwatch. It shoots for about 7.6 seconds, which equals 7.6 / 4 = 1.9 seconds at a normal x1.00 speed. And I can clearly see at least 25 cases ejected when video is slowed down.

Surely there are many factors that could affect RoF of a gun, but every single video out there shows nearly the same fire rate. And that seems to much of coincidence.

Anything that comes out of you is utter gibberish isnt it? Better ignore you lol.

So what’s the problem? It sounds like they are more annoying than anything else. Again, I have no problems in BR2 whatsoever. If anything, it is too easy. I can show proof if you want it.

nonsense. PPS43 is per stats a BR3 gun, and as such MP40 always struggles no matter if it plays in BR2 or BR3.

“better ignore me”

pah grow up dude.

If you claim it’s that easy then

and don’t start the wehraboo main slander; I am tier 3 on all factions

only br3 on all three or br 3 on japan, allies russia and maxed out on germany/axis cause it takes far less time to get to br3 then br5

I was just using that as evidence to say I don’t main a single faction, that’s all.

Now provided, this one isn’t against Soviet. But still applies Id say. Yeah… I wouldn’t play US atm. Brain levels are getting low and lower. If you want me to try and find one against the Soviet, I will look or make my evidence.

Ill have you wonder who was first. Oh, and didnt die at all.

I refuse to take this screenshot as evidence. You cropped the whole top half of the screen for literally no reason, meaning it could be any old nation against one another, and at a completely different BR too.

If one faction is br5 and the other br3 yes you are because you spent as much time in one faction as the other three combined.

Honestly that also seems like extra steps, we literally have loads of weapons that are duplicates (MP-38/FNAB/PPS-42) that are not used becasue they are not “meta”.

If you want to have a 700-ish submachine gun with 6.8 on br 2, then why not just have the MP-40 fire 700 and have 6.8, pretty justifiable with “weaker spring” and it’s not like DF is above pulling stats out of their immagination. Then people can still use the MP-38 if they want the old experience.

If that happens, I think one of the PPS’ should be given present MP stats as well - 550 rof, 7 damage. The other one can then be played as the “old” PPS.

Its kind of hard to undertand if you want 6.8 or 7.2, but I hope you go for 6.8 and deleting the body armour. Justifying giving germans a 7.2 with the same bullet output as soviet smgs by using body armour is wrong. If someone is wearing it, that simply means that he (and his squad) will be equal, in your own words, to the MP. However, the German will have an advantage over everyone who doesn’t, which at the very least includes bots. Just deleting the bonus of a premium cosmetic would be much easier then making such a big deal of it and adjusting TT weapon stats.

MP40 has its historical rate of fire.

Body armour is a major issue in the game balance for Axis weapons, in many different tiers
I dont think it can simply just be deleted, and its hard to justify giving 9mm parabellum SMGs over 7.5 damage (up to about 7.9 to 7.6, so they can have a little bit of range) to fight body armour without needing a third shot to kill.

The devs likely cant “just refund” gold and tickets for cosmetic items. If it were up to me, I’d remove body armour from Moscow/Rzhev/Stalingrad, ensure that those maps are only played in BR1-3, and move those body armour cosmetics to Berlin, meaning you get to keep as many as you bought, but they don’t demolish the balance of low tier weapons
