Basically,i divide unlocks to early, mid and late war.
This is very basic formula: you started the game and have early war stuff. You can play in any map ( not like red army in North africa btw)
Any soviet player who just started the game can even see berlin maps, but using higher tier unlocks means you have to fight in maps in late war phase

42-43
44-45
Lets say So yougave rd 44 to you lmg soldier, game will throw you to late war maps
But a new beginner chose t-60, he can play in berlin or moscow. Since t60 was first saw combat in 41, it is not anachronistic like seeing is2 in moscow maps.
Power balance details are depend on BR
So list is mostly based on current campaign free unlocks since they are somewhat accurate, but i did some little changes for balance things
Also i didnt try to destroy already established campaign gears
Mortars, grenade launchers , flamethrowers and mortars dont need any regulation
Edit: i didnt do anything for japan since they really need special mm rules or they cant compete anyway against uk and us

Just keep the campaign system and give them their own tech tree. Its getting ridiculous.

Not if you dont give a damn in their features and just copy pastes everything and making them not even average historical.

They can create a system with campagins but you que as a faction. Then it sends you to a map which that nation has fought in. They made needs to restrict certain armor and weapons.

I guess this could be done by allowing you to use the highest unlocked gear that is compatible with that map during loadout on battle start.

Similliar to how I suggested the ability to Choose tank camp before start of battle and loadout if you have multiple camos unlocked.

Of you want baretta with ypur infantry but also go to high tier campaigns you can just add ju118 or tiger 2 to so you still can fight in berlin. What is so hard to understand about this concept ?

Yes and only one free tank can pen a Tiger and Panther.
It doesnt make sense anyway.

Seeing weapons which were already designed in pre war era is not anachronistic.

Than timetravel and go to german heer in 1940’s and deliver your “you are too op man pls nerf panthers” like complaints to them. Yankees not having decent heavy than until the late war is not my fault

Any german who have higher ranking tanks will sent to east front. Also we dont have all repertoir of ww2 yet.

In other words, Axis players with Tiger E will never face Western Allied players… ok. Guess this will make mm faster…

No they can in late war maps
A guy who has tiger e can play in late war map if br matches. But not the other way around. So no tiger e in france or poland.
