The concept of body armor has been acknowledged at this point

With gun Who have between 550rpm (mp40) and 1000+rpm (ppsh) you are gonna fire 5-10 bullet or more per kill in a split of second, semi or auto it is

So Is thath simple, damage reduction Is effective Just aganaist pistol because other gun do to much DPS for care

if every bullet automatically found target i would agree. but majority of player sucks and 1 bullet more can mean difference between life and death. will it mean something for majority of situations? probably not. but it will still be useful in situations where you could survive and kill enemy cause of that extra 1 bullet.

I’ve basically only been playing BR5 lately. And most of the players there definitely don’t lack skill when it comes to shooting.
The problem is that building rally points is more important to winning a match in Enlisted than proper shooting skill.

I certainly haven’t encountered poor shooting skills across the Enlisted player base. What I did experience was laziness to build rally points, and thus a complete disinterest in winning matches.
Shooting basically matters more than anything else for majority of Enlisted’s players.

This - 10% reduction has almost 0 impact on the gameplay but it’s enough to cause complains. So it’s overall impact on the game is purely negative and it should be removed. Armor should be purely a cosmetic thing.

Except you can’t remove the damage reduction because it’s a “feature” of some premium squads. So enjoy complains of axis mains untill the world ends.

i have been playing BR5 and BR2. most of the time the ones who kill me are top 2-3 players with occasional kill from other players. also my aim sucks, my reflexes suck and i should be at best be in the middle of table if we go by skill level, but somehow i am usually in top spot or second spot when just using infantry. that is why i dont trust in players aiming abilities.

Imo it also should be removed as it’s 100% useless. But at least it’s not faction specyfic so it doesn’t cause community issues.

this is directly relevant to the discussion. Your incompetence in this matter is obvious. But you keep insisting on your own. 10% is so small that it does not affect German weapons. You can’t just get a cuirass like that. Most players won’t use it.
But you’re too incompetent at this game to understand that.

I believe it is more about proper management of equipment etc.
Things like if your squads are maxed out, if you have medkits on every soldier so they’re not guaranteed insta-kill and stuff like that.
The people at the bottom of the leaderboard usually have the poor squads and equipment or are just bots.

Most of the time there is not much difference between 1 shot and 2 shots
The Soviet Union will not be stronger just because it has bulletproof armor.
Because it makes no sense in front of Germany’s main weapons

But I agree that other countries should also add these things
It’s useless but fun

This sounds like it could apply to weapons and vehicles from all factions
The United States should not have rockets and Big Macs
Germany should not have MG machine guns, high-explosive machine guns and Tigers
The Soviet Union should not have submachine guns
Japan shouldn’t have weapons that don’t exist

Except this damage reduction has almost 0 impact on the gameplay. So removing it won’t harm anyone.

Unless it does have an impact. Then it’s unfair advantage for soviets.

Chose wisely.

Well, paras with weapons of your choice are way more bigger advantage than some 10% dmg reduction that’s barely noticeable.

The dmg reduction is just nice fluff, nothing else.

So remove it. It will solve some community issues.

More like parrots issues.

Same thing. If he won’t complain, somebody else will.

So we should just make the game which is not competitively/properly balanced less interesting and more dull because there’s pathological complainers will spam.

Noice, seems definitely worth it.

In meantime, I am going take out my chi-nu against Pershings, jumbos and calliopes.

Damage reduction has only negative impact on the game, keeping it is idiotic. End of story.

i think that cosmetics should stay as cosmetics and should have 0 impact to the game. otherwise we will get gloves that reduce 10% of recoil, boots that give 10% speed etc.

I believe it’s too late. Because they would have to compensate every player that purchased these clothes with golds.
Not compensating them would be way bigger drama.

And I doubt it’s worth the effort for DF. :man_shrugging:
