So let’s just make it so everyone can equip armor like the Soviet faction if they have any cosmetic orders or if they want to spend gold to just cover all their soldiers and body armor.
And if people don’t wanna hear the topic about armor anymore let’s just get rid of the damage reduction and just make it cosmetic.
So overall have fun doing whatever you do on replying while I just probably ignore it instead of arguing about the reasons or why at this point.
You should know by now DF does not want to hurt the fast-paced lunacy otherwise how else is Soviet soldier supposed to run with a maxim tokarev if gravity actually applied to him.
I don’t mind armor but personally I’d never have every single soldier wear it because it wouldn’t be historically immersive. Yes I know some people are gonna come at me with “Panzers on the beach” or other stuff but I think those are different principles.
And is it really that big of a deal. Isn’t it’s armor negligible. Even then I don’t see armor on every single Soviet
that’s because not many people know about it and not many people check the forum and if you wanna fight sweat Lords then you start to see problems or death stacks
its -10% from all damage on the torso, it seems pretty MEH, but this means that even a rifle like the gewehr 98 sniper cant OHKO you with a body shot any more since you have like 30.8 effective HP with vitality perk
It really isn’t noticable. It’s fairly accurate as the armor could only protect against some side arm fire and shrapnel. It was only given to sone assaulters and combat engineers. It hindered speed and ability to go prone. Honestly it’s real life cons were more than the pros.
I don’t even notice. I don’t really care as long as we’re accurate.
Body armor is only useful when it is paired with vitality builds, and it is very noticeable with semi rifles and with most weapons at mid range. Getting up tiered with the G41 against Soviets stacks with those kind of builds is hell.
It is an advantage, a niche one but still pretty good.
